Parking sucks but well worth it to figure out (behind, between, on the street, if not in front). Small restaurant but great food. Burritos are huge. Margaritas are yummy. We accidentally found this place but have been there twice & will return

I read good reviews before visiting but I was not impressed. The food was bland. I ordered the chimichanga meal. The tortilla was greasy and soggy, not crisp in any way. The rice and beans were lacking flavor. I was also disappointed with my margarita. It was not blended enough. I had a voucher from Restaurant.com that showed I would... More

First time going in and was really disappointed. They place was tiny and look dirty. Paint was chipping off the walls, tables outdated, dirty floor and a tv which seemed like its only reason for being there was so that the owners child could watch tv. The waitress was okay but clearly hadn't been working as a waitress wrong. The... More

Yes this is a small place but Coos Bay is a small town. In reality there is no fine dining in this town. This place has very good food and a good menu. It's worth a visit.

We had dinner there recently with a group of six people. The place is small but we were seated right away with menus. Our waiter turned out to be a child and it was quite unnerving. He was pleasant, but when asked, I think he told us he was 13 years old, so of course, he could not serve alcohol,... More

The food is just ok and the place is really dated. The biggest downfall is the parking is very limited .

I used to judge a Mexican restaurant by their Chile Rellenos. Many of the them were very greasy, and some of them were awesome. Some time ago I switched to camarones al mojo de ajo after I ordered some from El Sol and was astounded by the flavors, especially the spices put on the shrimp. I have tried them now... More

The food is decent. Not the best Mexican food I've had, but not too bad. The lunch special is a good deal at only $5. Chips and salsa are good, and that's pretty important.

Food is fabulous, authentic, tasty and unique. All the sauces are handmade and unique, each one is different. Service is great, family run, they really care that you are well taken care of and they remember you when you frequent. The best salsa in the world, fresh and just the right amount of heat. I could eat it by the... More
