Nice staff and all around Good Mexican outside of CA!

I had Spanish rice and Refried Beans. Huge plates. The Server was very nice. We were the lone couple at 3pm in the place. I''m a HUGE Refried bean fan. These beans were about a 6 on the scale of 10. Rice a 7. The guacamole was about a 7. My husband's veggie burrito was very fresh and he liked... read more

Here is a place that has Mexican fast food but is not a chain restaurant. Although it has more of a homemade taste it is still not gourmet. Some dishes were very good and others not so. Building is old and makeshift like a neighborhood hamburger stand but is kept clean. Portions are small and the price is no bargain.... More

We've eaten here several times and keep coming back. This is not an elegant place, small but colorful interior, inconsistent service but a very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Perhaps we've just been lucky but the food has always been very good to excellent with a home-made appeal, especially the chili rellenos. And better than average coffee. Coos Bay-North Bend has... First off the mild salsa was a lime water with a few chunks of tomato in it, when mixed with the beans it was good but too thin to put on a chip. My husband ordered the super burrito with chicken, the first half was all rice and beans no meat, the second half of the burrito was a large... More

Yucky food. I ordered a burrito and it tasted like they took some beef from a can, roasted it in some beef flavoring, added in some blood and nuked it in a tortilla. Added some cheese and nuked it again. My husband wasn't impressed either. When we walked in it was as if it was a huge inconvenience to have... More

We started our day hoping to find some good mexican food while on our road trip. After a long day of driving a checking out the coastal highway sites we found this great restaurant in Coos Bay right on the south end of town. Loved the decor and the waitress was so friendly. The food turned out to be excellent!... More

Parking sucks but well worth it to figure out (behind, between, on the street, if not in front). Small restaurant but great food. Burritos are huge. Margaritas are yummy. We accidentally found this place but have been there twice & will return

I read good reviews before visiting but I was not impressed. The food was bland. I ordered the chimichanga meal. The tortilla was greasy and soggy, not crisp in any way. The rice and beans were lacking flavor. I was also disappointed with my margarita. It was not blended enough. I had a voucher from Restaurant.com that showed I would... More

First time going in and was really disappointed. They place was tiny and look dirty. Paint was chipping off the walls, tables outdated, dirty floor and a tv which seemed like its only reason for being there was so that the owners child could watch tv. The waitress was okay but clearly hadn't been working as a waitress wrong. The... More

Yes this is a small place but Coos Bay is a small town. In reality there is no fine dining in this town. This place has very good food and a good menu. It's worth a visit.
