Love this place, but my husband Jan and I generally are there for drinks and appetizers. In the last year or so, breaded cheese curds, spicy and mild, were added to the snacks list. DELICIOUS AND POPULAR. FAST AND COST-EFFECTIVE. First, no more spicy. Today we went in, not offered at all. Rethink please. Those curds are locally sourced, delicious,... More

We sit outside in the outdoor greenhouse. We always order off the special Bar-B-Que lunch menu. The food is cooked on a outside grill with some of the best sauce I have tried. The value is outstanding ,the food is very good, and you will not leave hungry. This is on the East side of Cops Bay just South of town. It... More

We ate here last year and weren't disappointed with our steak dinners so we figured we would try it again. It was a nice evening so we opted to sit outside in what I call their greenhouse since it has plants and beautiful hanging flower baskets. I got the NY Strip steak and my husband got a Sirloin steak. Our... More

For some reason this place has great reviews. Beats us as to why. That said, if you are a Jeff Foxworthy fan you probably will like this place. I will say that the staff was great, but they were far and away the best part of the meal. The salad was sad, and that is being kind. I ordered a... More

I grew up in Coos Bay and have seen this place go through most of the changes listed on their web site. Have not eaten there in 30+ years and while the on-line pictures show flowering baskets and reasonable appearing décor, the truth is the place is looking kind of tired. Inside seating is tavern-like, dated and kind of dark.... More

Who would have thought that grilled prime rib would be seasoned so wonderfully and cooked to PERFECTION. We were referenced to this place by our hotel check-in attendee, and we arrive a few minutes before closing. The waiter and manager whisked us in with smiles, looking thankful for the additional business, instead of perturbed at late arrivals. We were instantly... More

Our B&B had a nice selection of local menus and we chose from the menus based on price and variety of food. All the meals were good and they offer a good variety at reasonable prices. We actually shared a shrimp and pasta meal as we are seniors and most places serve portions that are too large for us. The... More

Oregon Coast best Classic French. I think a local told us about this place. Fresh, as in just caught, fresh seafood. Service was excellent. Places like these are the reason I travel. Get the BBQ oysters. Even my boyfriend like them and he hated oysters before. Basicly this restaurant was a life changing experience for him.
