We have never reviewed for TA, though we have used their site extensively world-wide. However, after dinner last night at the SharkBites Restaurant in Coos Bay, Oregon we are compelled. A typical café ambiance with coffee bean gunny sacks on walls for décor, connected to a skate board/surf shop in a seaside town with a small full-service bar sets the... More

My mom and I went to Shark Bites around 7 o'clock on a Thursday. We were quickly seated, and ordered the ahi tuna poke which was delicious and a crab cake salad to split. Great beer and wine selection, and the atmosphere in the place was rockin'! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, kept our water glasses filled and everything.... More

Visit them for lunch with my wife. I should be fair to mention that this happened over two years ago. We went in there for our very first time and took forever to be seated. Wife hates everything from the ocean but agreed to accompany me there because I love everything from the ocean... and this place was recommended by... More

Stopped by for lunch and decided to order there brunch. It was a really small but great menu. I had the crab cake benditct. It was delicious. Crab cakes were super tasty and the fingerling potatoes were cook and seasoned perfectly. I highly suggest having it any day you come by

My sis and I decided to eat here and we're NOT disappointed. We thought the food delicious! She had prawns and onion rings and chowder. She raved about the chowder, especially but everything was so good. The batter on prawns and onions was light and delicious. I had the crab cake salad and it was a great choice - again,... More

Best clam chowder, ever. Not too thick, flavorful broth and TENDER, fresh clams. The daily fresh sheet had several good looking options. I opted for the steelhead, grilled to perfection with a hint of honey and dill. Husband opted for Spicy Cod Tacos. Just the right amount of spice and the slaw was moist but not slurpy so the third... After arriving at the Motel 6 down the rode. The clerk told us the directions of all the eateries. So we drove and circled the block twice . Saw the sign. Hard to find parking in front. If you circle the block there is parking infront of a surf shop and go thru that shop to the restaurant. Didn't really... More

We found this place while walking around town. I had the green salad with pink shrimp and my husband had the fish & chips. He liked this restaurant more than I did. The pink shrimp on my salad were kind of mushy, so for me it was a "texture thing" I guess. I tried his fish & chips and I... More

Had the fish and chips for lunch. Very good without a lot of grease, cole slaw was very fresh and tasty. Salad was fresh and crisp. A good place for lunch. Waitress was a bit above average.
