Good German food and nice atmostsphere

Went here for a business lunch and enjoyed the German selections. The fondue appetizer with sausage and bread for dipping was fantastic. Nice Bavarian / German décor - not overbearing and the restaurant was nice and bright with natural light--So often they are dark inside. Fast and friendly service.

We visited Gustav's in Clackamas, Oregon on December 17, 2015 at 5:00pm. We were in a party of 6 so we scheduled our visit before the normal dinner rush. Our food arrived LUKE WARM. The portions were less than half the size of previous visits and really did not even start to look like a full serving. On my previous... More

This place used to rock ! With old school German food . Now nothing is worth mentioning the menu is all over the place and nothing that sticks to your rib like in the old days .

We had an early dinner here. Jagr Schnitzel (one veal and one chicken), salads, and bread pudding and apfel strudel. Everything was fantastic and well priced. Our server was prompt and very friendly. She gave us honest recommendations and was always available

Started off the meal with a couple of Fondue's, an Atlas Blackberry Cider, and the house Riesling. All three were fantastic. The main course was Wienerschnitzel, and Spaetzle Alfredo. The presentation was excellent on both meals, and they tasted even better than they appeared. We left the table very full and pleased. Service was great, the server noticed everything without... I started the meal with a Ayinger Celebrator and we all ate the pretzels and cheese fondue. I had German sausages, red cabbage and sauerkraut. All were excellent. The cabbage was some of the most delicious I have ever eaten. My daughter had the goulash and spätzle and my wife had pork cordon bleu. The dinner was excellent.

Met our son and his family for lunch on the way to the airport. One of our favorite places to stop when picking up or dropping family/friends off at the airport.

We arrived during busy dinner hour, put our name on the list, and waited about 15 - 20 minutes. The restaurant is very large so the line moved quickly. Once seated, our service was excellent. We were not in a great hurry, wanting to enjoy a leisurely date and social interaction. Our server modeled his assistance to meet our needs.... More

Our family celebrated my nephew's 18th birthday here. I had the fish & chips. They were good, but for the price I would like to see three pieces of fish. My wife had the roasted pork which she said was excellent. They gave my nephew John an apple strudel for his birthday. A good time for all!
