We picked up a cheese plate and hummus to have for lunch while sitting outside at Saffron Fields Winery and it was a great mid afternoon snack to accompany our wine tasting day

On the main street of the tiny town of Carlton is this unique restaurant. We stopped for lunch in the midst of wine tasting. They offer a nice selection of wines, sandwiches, numerous sides and lovely cheeses among other things. Coffee is served in a 4 cup French press and the bread is top notch. We enjoyed a trio of... I had a delicious ham sandwich for lunch and my husband had a wonderful salad. The service was pleasant and the food was very good. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great lunch spot.

I can't say enough about Horse Radish - Over two trips to wine country, we've eaten there 3 times. Lunches are amazing - great sandwiches and salads. Fantastic wine selection and friendly staff. Don't miss this one, especially for a lunch break or early evening bite during your wine tasting adventures.

The sandwiches are literally to die for! I try a new one every time. They also make a great cheese platter and have a wonderful selection of affordable wine to go with your meal. This is a must stop every time I go out to wine country and enjoy it every time!

Our first stop in Oregon before wine tasting. The food and service was excellent! 5 stars! I had turkey and avocado, wife had pastrami, other people in party had roast beef, all the sandwiches were excellent.

In Carlton on a wine tasting trip with friends, the Horse Radish was on my list for picnic or lunch. We were famished when we arrived. Fortunately didn't need a reservation, and were seated right away. We ordered a large cheese and charcuterie platter right way, and a bottle of wine (great wine list). Hard to make choices, so many... More

We were driving from Portland, Oregon to Cannon Beach in a round about way and had been told that we should stop in Carlton, Oregon and go to The Horse Radish restaurant for lunch. This is a newish looking restaurant with a wine tasting bar and a bakery / deli take out selection counter in the front. We chose to... More

This is our third trip here, the first for lunch. We had the Pastrami on Gluten-free Rye bread. I've eaten in some of the best deli's in the US and this little shop delivered on this New York style sandwich. Also had my favorite Oregon beer, Terminal Gravity's ESG! This such a cute place serving some of Oregon's best craft... More
