Great spot for lunch or a break from wine tasting

Our party of 6 stopped here for lunch during a break from wine tasting. (Carlton has many tasting rooms; there are even more within a few miles.) Most of us had the special turkey sandwich. Simply delicious! Very hearty... the desserts looked fabulous but we were all too full to try them.

If you only have time for one meal in the area, go here. If you have time for another, go again. From food to service, it is well executed with a sense of hospitality rarely experienced. Friday nights you'll find live music that's fun and tasteful. Wide variety of local wines, cheeses, and entrees that satisfy the gamut of preference.

My fiancée and I stopped at this place for lunch. It came highly recommended to us. The place is in a small town and it's a very cute place. Lots of sandwiches on the menu. I had the ham and fig and he had the turkey. I think we both agree that these sandwiches were probably the best sandwiches we've... More

I wanted to taste Marshall Davis wine and found out that the tasting room is located here. I also had read that the food was good; therefore, a stop was just what we needed in between winery tours. The place is cute, the service is good and the sandwiches are quite tasty. My wife enjoyed a half salad with her... More

We were recently at the Horse Radish for the second time for lunch. Still awesome pastrami and my choice was a deconstructed turkey sandwich. This visit was as special as the first time. Great sandwiches, informal and friendly atmosphere - wouldn't hesitate to stop by again when in the Yamhill area.

We were recommended to go here for lunch after visiting 2 wineries. So much to choose from on the menu. I loved that they had a "pick 2" for lunch for $10. I had soup and. 1/2 sandwich. Delicious and everything home made. A delight for lunch.

Lunch between wine visits. I had the turkey sandwich special on foccacia bread with avocado and pickled red onions. I'm hungry again just thinking about it. Leek and potato soup was also very tasty. We were referred by two different tasting rooms.

We stopped in for lunch and had the ham with fig sandwich and the BLT and both were fantastic! They also put together a to go container of prosciutto and various cheeses to take with us that was awesome as well

Solid sandwiches (including a good vegetarian option - veggie with hummus and goat cheese), good beer/wine list. Nice atmosphere.
