This place has very delicious food. It is a very busy place for dinner. You may have to wait a while. We shared a table with another family.

Chicken pot pie was amazing! A very busy place for dinner on Sunday night! We ended up sharing part of our table with another family.

This is a small cafe with limited seating and the food is fantastic, so be prepared to wait. I'm not sure if they were understaffed on the Saturday night we were in, but service took a really, really long time and the waitress seemed flustered and overworked (middle aged blonde). There was a younger waitress working (red head I think),... More

We visited this cafe last Saturday for lunch. We had our dog with us and thought this would be a great place for pet freindly patio seating. We did see that all food is prepared fresh and allowed time for the wait. What we didn't expect was the horrible service we received. First, we arrived and no tables were open,... More

I want to apologize for your experience at my restaurant. Unfortunately we are understaffed and you will see signs all over town with "Help Wanted" in the windows. We at times fill the whole café inside and out within minutes, when that happens servers just can't keep up with guests. If we try to stop seating people and they see... More

Sat for about an hour then the waiter appeared only to be very rude.....My daughter asked if she could subsitute the coleslaw and chips for a cup of chowder and the old lady said no way while shaking her head with a disgusted look on her face ! from that point on it took forever to get our food about... We are big fans of organic food! It's all we eat, so we were excited to try out this restaurant on our vacation. We sat and sat and sat, no one even said hi or be right with ya. We were told it's like this by the people sitting next to us. They said make sure you know what you... More

We were referred here by the hotel where we stayed. The server was hateful, ignored us, she was downright abusive. We had to repeat requests several times to get what we needed, such as napkins, utensils, lemons, water. The meal was fair at best, but she pretty much ruined the dining out experience for our anniversary. With all of the... More

First I want to let you know I take every review seriously and want to apologize for any problems you may have had with your visit to Sweet Basils. It would be really helpful if you could give me some further description of your server that day or night and was it for lunch or dinner. I will certainly address... More

Watery, flavorless, vegetarian dish so ordered another dish (still hungry). Waited over an hour for it, no explanation, no communication. Waitress seemed irritated that we wanted to know why it was taking so long.

This small café tucked away at the end of a walkway serves food with a New Orleans flair. They warn you that everything is cooked to order and nothing is prepared in advance so don't be in a hurry. Even the vegetables are cut fresh. They offer entrees but I decided on the tapas. 2 were more than enough for... More
