Definitely worth paying a visit to. The Chicken Pot Pie is homemade and was absolutely amazing. The pastry was golden flakey and delicious. The vegetables were different, but it worked. It was the best pot pie I have ever had. We also go the crab cakes that were the best I've ever had. They were light and the crab was... More

On our recent trip to Cannon Beach went to Sweet Basil two different nights. Had the crab stuffed portobello both nights very good. Topped it off with marion berry pie al la mode . Live music was great atmosphere

Vegetarian selections drew us here, but the friendly service, awesome music & tasty food keep us coming back. It's a feel-good place--I could live here!

So nice to have a turkey sandwich that is unique - this one had avocado, cranberries and pumpkin seeds. Great combo. Amazing service and you feel like you relax and enjoy without being hurried off. Can't wait to return. And yummy GF bread to boot!

Sweet Basil is a small restaurant joined to a small wine bar. The atmosphere is casual. So, how did we like it? We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The place may be small but the menu is surprisingly big, especially since the dishes are cooked on the spot with fresh and flavorful ingredients. Their cooking ideas are also bold. For example,... Christmas Eve and John (chef) was cooking every dish to order, so it was a wait, but worth every moment! Wine list was great and a small combo of local guys provided fun entertainment. It's small, but a fun environment with wonderful food!

We had New Year's eve here. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had the salmon bruschetta appetizer and the charcuterie plate, both excellent. I ordered the crab-stuffed portobello mushroom which was fantastic. They have a good wine selection. The only thing I would suggest if you make a reservation is ask for a booth or table in the back... More

Two of us had dinner at Sweet Basil's on Christmas Eve. The food was great - really fresh, well prepared, nicely presented. All meals are prepared as ordered so it can take a little more time to get your food, but the wait is well worth it. The wine list is also very good, and very fairly priced. I'm not... More

Very impressed with the "by the glass" wines offered. The food was fresh and made to order - I had quite a delicious cheesy, mushroom entree. Would return
