Love this place for lunch or light snacks

This is a wonderful charming spot for summer relaxing. I found the bartender very informative and only go if you have some time to kill. It is also very small and fills up fast. I enjoyed it but anyone impatient would not have a great time. I loved their Bruschetta and smoked salmon. The wine... read more

What a wonderful place. Chef John takes such obvious pride in his craft. The smoked salmon bruschetta was a wonderful starter. My crawfish étoufee was on point; many complex layers that could be tasted with each bite. Just sad it had to end. My wife's seafood gumbo was amazing as well. Please visit here if you want a terrific experience.

I seldom can give a restaurant a full five points. If I hadn't tasted the étouffée at Sweet Basil's, I might have given them five points, but that étouffée cliched the deal. Wow. The chef makes this dish exactly the way it's supposed to be made and it is superb. We also had the Oso Buco and it was VERY... More

The place was packed, so we took an outside table, which meant slow service and freezing weather. The menu is very interesting and I would like to try this again!

Sweet and charming spot tucked between the two downtown main streets. Lots of variety, including vegan and gluten-free. Being a meat and potatoes gal, the special of lamb chops was my go-to choice. Buttery chops, cooked medium with a side of sweet potatoes gratin--heaven on a plate. Partner's seafood jambalaya was stuffed with shrimp, crawfish and crab in a spicy... More

This restaurant is a welcome change from the standard greasy spoon beach restaurant. The food here is fresh, prepared for each individual order and you can tell! The jambalaya was some of the best we've had and the portobello mushroom stuffed with crab was delicately spiced and delicious. The service was top notch and the atmosphere was relaxed and charming.... More

They had just closed the kitchen when we stopped by, but re-opened to feed us a late lunch/early dinner. The food was delicious, with tons of vegan and vegetarian options. The staff was very friendly. We will be back!

Was not impressed with the food or service do not waste your time and money at this place. Food is way to high for what you get so beware.
