Nice outdoor seating. Friendly staff. I had a portobello sandwich on the best gluten free bread I've ever had. My husband had pulled pork sandwich and he said it was excellent. The food was worth the wait!

Their veggie pot pie came so close to absolutely delicious. The crust was flaky and the sauce was delicious. But there could have been three times as much vegetables, it was mostly sauce. How expensive would it have been to throw in some more carrots, potatoes and broccoli? The pot pie, no bread or salad--nothing else, was $16. Too much... More

I'm so tired of pub food this was a great find. Off the main strip so definitely need to search for it but well worth it. Good healthy food. Perfect after a surf!

Excellent combination of Cajun and American food. Taste explosion in your mouth. Good size portions. Homemade dessert was fresh. Service was kind and well timed. Live music a calming sound.

Recently we wandered into Sweet Basil's for dinner. Can't say we were blown away but it was ok. The salmon in yellow curry was a bit overwhelmed by the sauce and a little dry. However, the bruschetta of salmon was really wonderful! I think this would be a better lunch venue than dinner - the interior is a bit funky... More

My husband and I had looked forward to dine at Sweet Basil's and had looked at some delicious choices on their menu. However, after being seated with the menu we sat and sat and sat waiting for a wait person to show up. After more than a half hour waiting we just got up and left. Granted the menu describes... More

We eat at Sweet Basil's every time we're in Cannon Beach - often more than once - the food is that good. Always creative, interesting, healthy and delicious. Excellent selection of wines, too. We usually bring our Great Pyrenees, Molly, and she is welcome to eat with us at one of the outside tables. The servers are even attentive to... More

Cozy cafe that features a great menu with gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan choices. All freshly prepared by Tom Sowa, the owner. On Saturday nights there's no cover music. I'll be returning to it the next time I'm in town.

Hubby and I were looking for something healthy and light. They do have turkey and fish here, it's not all vegan. Many organic things on the menu. I had their creole red bean soup, it was so flavorful and yummy. Hubby had the Ecuadorian lentil soup which was also very tasty. Hubby had their chicken salad sandwich and I had... More

I might be a little Bias as I am an employee, but I am a foodie and everyday I'm just amazed at the dishes and character that this restaurant has. Crabmeat and artichoke melt down to the Osso Buco, I really feel we give a "Dining Experience" to our guests...
