Great pub fare

Th lumberyard has a large list of gluten free options including fish and chips and onion rings (a rarity for gluten free diners)! The ambiance is fun and the staff friendly. It's great pub fare from Cannon Beach!

Great pub food, good bar. Good family dining. The problem at times is the long wait for a table. Then again.. in Cannon Beach, everything involves waiting.

Had a lovely salad and split a fantastic crab sandwich. Prices are high but on a par with all of the restaurants in Cannon Beach we visited. Friendly service. A fun pub food kind of place.

I rarely bother to write bad reviews, but this was one of the worst dining experiences that I have ever had. We were amongst a handful of customers, seated in the bar area, and waited so long for our food that the place was packed by the time we left. I ordered a bacon cheese burger and the bacon was... The last time I was here, the food and service was pretty darn good. This time around was quite different. We barely saw our waiter to ask for some additional ranch, yet he checked on other tables many times. I had the halibut fish and chips and it was incredibly disappointing. Not only was it $23.99.....but it was dry and... More

As a native Oregonian/Portlander - I have been coming to Cannon Beach for well over 60 years. While I really like the venue (I do remember when it was a lumber store), I have given up on it's worth as a place to eat. The uninspired menu never seems to change - but the "chefs" seem to change as frequently... More

I truly believe that everyone has different likes and dislikes. The world is a much more interesting place because of this. I hope you find a place that is uniquely suited to your tastes. Sincerely, Vicki Clarke, aka lost at the lumberyard. More

I really dislike being negative, but we have a lot of friends who, like us, love Cannon Beach and go there regularly. Therefore, I feel a need to put down our truly terrible dining experience there. With unseasonable beautiful weather and mid-winter break, Cannon Beach was very busy for February. The other 2 restaurants we wanted to go to were... More

I am terribly sorry that you did not enjoy your dinner. We have been overwhelmed with the unusually high business levels for this time of year. I am almost always here and would have been happy to address your issues in person. Sincerely, Vicki Clarke More

My husband and I went here for dinner in the bar. For food we ordered clam chowder, salads, and their Mac and cheese. The clam chowder was watery for my taste and not many clams. The salads were good. The Mac and cheese was bland, we had to add blue cheese dressing in it to make worth eating. We also... More

We had lunch there recently, and the food was really good; the service wasn't so great; the people-watching was great; you can get a good meal for a reasonable price.

After looking at the menu online we decided to risk it, hoping high prices might mean good tasting food. The kids mac and cheese was just Kraft so I decided to get the adult version to split with the youngest. Added the crab on the side. Honestly the Kraft would have probably tasted better. We paid $19.95 for the adult... More
