Hesitate but glad we tried it

We had a recommendation for another restaurant close to this one, but it was packed and we could not get in. Having read though the reviews, I was a little hesitate to go to the Lumberyard. We walked in and were told it was a short wait. We headed to the bar where were were promptly greeted... read more

The staff is very friendly, we ordered steaks, and they were cooked perfectly! The coffee is excellent. Unlike some of the other dining establishments, we didn't feel like it was overpriced, in fact it was a great value! We enjoyed our meal so much we came back the next night! Can't wait to return to Cannon Beach so we can... More

The pizza was okay borderline good, I'm from CT so I am critical of pizza. The pulled pork was okay, and the Mac and Cheese on the appetizer menu was flavorless. Customer service was very good though.

This is the place to go with your family or large groups of people. Comfort food and Burger style menu. But, it is well prepared and tasty. Decorated in a atmospheric lodge style. Good friendly service.

Service was very good but the food mediocre. A good value for a large family. Portions were generous. Parking was easy.

Went to dine at the LRG since other restaurants nearby were full, it was late and we were hungry. Well we used to go there when they opened the place years ago under another name and stopped going when they changed owners/remodeled the place to a smaller setting, etc. which took its charm, quality of the food away too and... For our last night in cannon beach we intended on eating at a restaurant with better reviews but the seating was limited so we ventured into the lumberyard. The fireplace and rustic design are a great touch and provide a nice atmosphere. Our server was helpful and the food was delivered quickly. I ordered the pot pie of the day... More

The southwest chicken salad was fantastic. I had the dressing on the side so I could decide myself how much I wanted. Very tasty. My husband's burger was tasty too and the home fries were a hit! The price was just a tad high- 30$ for lunch ( water for drinks) . But worth it. Dog friendly on the patio... More

My husband had the Halibut and Chips, expensive at$23.99 but he enjoyed it. He really enjoyed the clam chowder too. My Epic Burger was just excellent!! Loved it. The fries were 'just Ok'. Great strawberry lemonade.

I have been here a few times. They are always awesome and very accommodating with my Gluten allergy. They have GOOD gluten free beer options (Omission)! I had the Dungeness crab salad. It was HUGE and delicious. They included two slices of gluten free bread in place of the rolls that would normally come with the salad. I will definitely... More
