I have eaten here many time and it is always good. Go ahead and get the fish and chips, but then you do not need the chowder as the meal is big enough. It has always been fresh and well prepared. It is difficult to find as it is one block off the main drag, but ask someone and find... More

Loved the selection of fresh seafoods for eating in or taking out. The Shrimp cocktails are reasonably priced and so yummy.

The Ecola Seafood Restaurant looks more like a cafeteria inside. The building is tucked back off of Hemlock, so it would be easy to miss. But, if you are a fish-lover, do not miss it! I had their fish tacos and they were incredible. I loved the salsa on them. The fish was cooked just right and was very flavorful.... More

Don't get me wrong, there is always a place for "the trappings" when deciding on a dining location. But for me, a trip to the Oregon coast always includes finding good, honest, fresh fish without a need for a tablecloth and a wine list. In Cannon Beach, Ecola Fish Market is my go-to place. Order at the counter, take a... More

Selection is fantastic and staff super-helpfuil in deciding what to eat! Shared tables, but bright space with huge windows. I had Halibut fried and it was like eating butter (I don't mean from being fried!). My friend had fish tacos using fresh, local cod and he loved it.

There was no holding back on the crab here... Large pieces of meat. And the use Tillamook cheese. The clam chowder was good with decent kick. Overall, good food but slightly overpriced in my opinion.

Ecola Seafoods Restaurant and Market serves fresh - fresh - and excellent fish. It's not a fancy place, nor an elegant place and it doesn't pretend to be. It's just the best place around to get fresh fish served quickly and at a reasonable price. We've enjoyed the cod and the halibut fish and chips, the crabcakes, the fish tacos,... More

Seafood is freshly prepared but the dining area is rough. Cod taco $10 was nothing special. Husband had the crab melt $14 which he enjoyed. Portions are not very generous. Staff was indifferent.

If at all possible, I stop here whenever I travel to Cannon Beach. You can get a nice seafood lunch and take some day-fresh seafood home with you. I've always found them to have high quality seafood -- either to eat in, take out, or take home to prepare. Friendly staff that know their stuff.
