Ecola Seafoods Restaurant and Market serves fresh - fresh - and excellent fish. It's not a fancy place, nor an elegant place and it doesn't pretend to be. It's just the best place around to get fresh fish served quickly and at a reasonable price. We've enjoyed the cod and the halibut fish and chips, the crabcakes, the fish tacos,... More

Seafood is freshly prepared but the dining area is rough. Cod taco $10 was nothing special. Husband had the crab melt $14 which he enjoyed. Portions are not very generous. Staff was indifferent.

If at all possible, I stop here whenever I travel to Cannon Beach. You can get a nice seafood lunch and take some day-fresh seafood home with you. I've always found them to have high quality seafood -- either to eat in, take out, or take home to prepare. Friendly staff that know their stuff.

We stopped in Cannon Beach and just happened to stumble on this place after a walk on the beach. We were passing through town and just wanted a bite to eat before we got back in the car. Ordered a bowl of clam chowder and didn't have the heart to tell the woman at the counter that we had intended... More

A local shop owner suggested Ecola's and we are so glad they did. You order at the counter and then wait for your very fr sh seafood to get prepped. We shared a crab melt and fish and chips. Perfectly delicious!

We stopped here because of the prospect of getting some really fresh fish to take home. The fish behind the counter looked dry as if it had been out for days. I decided to buy one of their canned salmon products and was treated like I was an idiot by the man behind the counter when I asked what the... More

My husband and I shared an order of fish and chips, the batter on the fish was pretty good but the fish was tough. I'm not sure we would eat there again.

Run by the same family that owns the fishing boat - It does not get fresher. It isn't cheap but the money goes right to the producer so it's ok. We bought lump crab and added it to soups for warm dinners. Have to recommend the smoked Mussels too. They are wonderful appetizers with a nice Idaho Chardonnay.

I always stop and get a big piece of their smoked salmon. Moist and very flavorful. Some of the best.

Really enjoyed the menu and outstanding seafood! The scallops and chips were delicious, and although I have had better clam chowder, it was good!
