We had the whole crab dinner and a small side of smoked mussels, and it was plenty for two people. The total was around $32. We wanted fresh, local crab, but did not want to pay around $50 at a "fancy" restaurant. This was the perfect place!

We read several reviews on this place before making the journey to Cannon Beach especially to visit. When we got there, the restaurant menu just didn't really do it for us, so instead we purchased (somewhat more expensive than other fresh fish retailers nearby) scallops and salmon which tasted incredible when we cooked them at our rental in Manzanita. I... More

If you are not spending the day in Cannon Beach and are just looking for a reasonably priced, conveniently located place with rather fast service to eat lunch, this one works out fine. It's located one block off Main Street and across from the Visitor’s Center. We each ordered halibut and fries and a cup of chowder. The fish was... More

Just one block off the main street of downtown, Ecola Seafood offers a casual, affordable option if you re not in the mood to sit down and spend 90 minutes eating. They have a counter to place an order and you can get many fresh and healthy options. They also have non-seafood if you have a few folks in your... More

We ate here for lunch today. I had the clam chowder in a bread bowl. It should have been called potato chowder with a clam or two because there were hardly any clams. I didn't care for the flavor either. The other thing that was irritating was the attitude of the staff. They acted like we were an inconvenience. I... More

Just because a seafood restaurant is on the coast doesn't mean a thing. The fish and chips were mediocre. The crab cakes were small and sub-par. Service was lackluster.

Cannon Beach has a lot of great places to eat. I usually prefer casual and quick, which is in short supply in Cannon Beach. Ecola Seafoods has become one of my favorite inexpensive lunch stops. On my last trip, I had the lunch portion of the cod and chips. The portion size is perfect and the fish batter goes well... More

Decided to stop and have lunch since their magazine advertisement said they have been a family owned restaurant with the freshest seafood in town. My husband and I both ordered the crab cake for $17.00 which was served with a small salad with baby canned shrimp on top. Probably imported from China. The crab cake had very little imitation crab.... More

We picked up 5 lbs of fresh salmon to take to our vacation house and grill - the fish was fresh and tasty - so this worked out perfectly! We were very happy with the quality, taste and freshness of the fish.

Recommended by guidebook and also by locals. No ambiance or atmosphere but the food was very good. I would go back again
