We stopped in for lunch after a long morning of traveling and exploring at Cannon Beach. The calm strips were juicy, big, and delicious! The calm chowder was decent (a little too much potato) and the prawns seemed over cooked but were ok. The clams definitely made up for the other blemishes.

We liked it so much here we had lunch and dinner here on the same day! For lunch we had halibut fish and chips and a crab melt sandwich. Both were delicious. Fresh and plenty of food. For dinner we opted for a crab cocktail salad. It's like a shrimp cocktail. It was so good. Then we each had a... More

We were at "The Butler Did It" antiques and wanted a nice place to eat. So many restaurants to chose from that it made the choice hard. We were waved off all the ones we thought would be good and were sent to this little (well, not so little) Fish Shop. Oh my, it was good. Walk up, look at... More

We shared an order of fresh clam steamers that were delicious. They tasted fresh, had minimal sand particles, and were lightly steamed ... not overdone.

This place came highly recommended by a lady I met on the plane to Portland. She grew up in the area & her family always goes there when they visit. We went to have fish & chips & got clams also. It was great! It was in the middle of a small shopping area & just a couple blocks from... More

The atmosphere is just like a deli/market, but the fresh fish is excellent. The halibut was the best we had the whole week there. A good place for lunch!

Busy busy place but no one seems to mind standing in line to place their order then wait almost as long. If you can, advoid peak meal times when the .line isn't quite as long, but it seems to always be crowded. And for a good reason. Very good tasting fish. Not much more to say that hasn't been said... Living in the desert, we were wanting some fresh seafood and did we get it! This is no fancy place, you go to the counter, order, and then they call your number when it's ready. But it was very tasty-just what we were looking for. Staff was friendly and patient as we made our decisions on which delectable entree we... More

Being a clam chowder fan, I tried the chowder at every restaurant we went to. Here was my favorite--it had the best flavor and the clams were really fresh. I also tried the shrimp salad, which was very good. Someone in my party had the fish and chips which were excellent they said and the others had fried scallops, which... More

Clam chowder is delicious. Also Fried Halibut is a nice splurge. Tables outside allows you to bring your pup after playing on the beach. Prices reasonable. They serve beer too if you are so inclined. Operating as a seafood market as well, you can take home many fresh local fish to cook once you leave the beach.
