Just one block off the main street of downtown, Ecola Seafood offers a casual, affordable option if you re not in the mood to sit down and spend 90 minutes eating. They have a counter to place an order and you can get many fresh and healthy options. They also have non-seafood if you have a few folks in your... More

We ate here for lunch today. I had the clam chowder in a bread bowl. It should have been called potato chowder with a clam or two because there were hardly any clams. I didn't care for the flavor either. The other thing that was irritating was the attitude of the staff. They acted like we were an inconvenience. I... More

Just because a seafood restaurant is on the coast doesn't mean a thing. The fish and chips were mediocre. The crab cakes were small and sub-par. Service was lackluster.

Cannon Beach has a lot of great places to eat. I usually prefer casual and quick, which is in short supply in Cannon Beach. Ecola Seafoods has become one of my favorite inexpensive lunch stops. On my last trip, I had the lunch portion of the cod and chips. The portion size is perfect and the fish batter goes well... More

Decided to stop and have lunch since their magazine advertisement said they have been a family owned restaurant with the freshest seafood in town. My husband and I both ordered the crab cake for $17.00 which was served with a small salad with baby canned shrimp on top. Probably imported from China. The crab cake had very little imitation crab.... More

We picked up 5 lbs of fresh salmon to take to our vacation house and grill - the fish was fresh and tasty - so this worked out perfectly! We were very happy with the quality, taste and freshness of the fish.

Recommended by guidebook and also by locals. No ambiance or atmosphere but the food was very good. I would go back again

Yes - it is a seafood restaurant that even comes recommended by Sunset Magazine, but fresh fish shouldn't smell. The place has zero ambiance with metal tables and chairs, none of which was clean- our shoes literally felt like we walked into something major sticky. So without ordering anything - we walked out...

A whole cooked crab. Buttered toast. Clam chowder. This is the meal I come for when I visit Cannon Beach and Ecola Seafoods. If you want the work done for you, get a 'boat' and dive into fresh Dungeness crab and Oregon Coast shrimp. Expect a bit of a lineup in rush times, straight forward service and no frills. It's... Stopped in several times to pick up calamari salad, smoked oysters and mussels, and smoked salmon. Delicious!
