As others have remarked, this is a very straightforward, no frills kind of place. You make your order, then take your plastic tray with your food and sit at casual tables inside the fish market with people around you standing in line to make their order. You eat it w/plastic utensils and paper plates. There is only beer and wine... more

Great place for fish and chips, or anything else you want fried with chips. Fair price to quality ratio. I wished I lived nearby to take advantage of the grocery and fresh fish retail options they had. Note: Cannon Beach restaurants, shops, and bars are often closed Mondays and Tuesdays, especially in Spring and Autumn. Thus what you want may... more

We'd heard good things about this market and we're very glad we gave it a try. My husband loves fish and chips and this place really does it well. Be warned, this is no-frills. There's a lot of plastic and flimsy napkins, but you feel like you're getting the real fish market experience. The portions are generous. At an upscale... more

We didn't eat here, but stopped by to pick up some fresh crab to eat at home. The crab here was a little less expensive than places we stopped at in Tillamook and Seaside, and was very good (with lots of chunks of leg meat included). The lady who helped us was very nice (and packed our crab in ice... more

We ate here February 17 - cod fish and chips. The fish was very good. The restaurant was busy but not packed and it took only a few minutes to order and get our food. The only downside that we experienced was the outside seating. We had our puppy with us and ate at one of the 3 small picnic... more

My husband and I had lunch here on a sunny October Saturday. We had enjoyed lunch here about five years ago, so thought we would again. First of all, be warned .... they are very, very busy (think absolutely jammed) on weekends and probably all summer. They have a small congested eating area inside, and a few tables outside on... more

We ate at Ecola Seafoods last weekend during the Stormy Arts festival. Out family shared razor clams and chips, halibut and chips, clam strips, and clam chowder. It was your basic fried fish stuff, but when done well (and this place does it very well), that's as good as any food on the planet. The razor clams were tender enough... more

I love this little gem. The owner is the fisherman, crabber, and everything is super fresh. They are quite a wonderful family and it is awesome to see their place flourish. Go buy some fish and chips or get some fresh seafood to go. more

We stopped in at Ecola Seafood Market for a cup of clam chowder while strolling downtown Cannon Beach. Very good chowder and the staff was friendly and informative when we asked about cooking some razor clams we had caught in Seaside. Aside from the restaurant, there is also a fish market that sells shrimp cocktails, fresh fish and yummy cocktail... more

My parents found Ecola Restaurant about 5 years ago, and recommended it highly. Ever since, the whole family enjoys going to Cannon Beach for fish at Ecola. In fact, Cannon Beach is the only beach we go to anymore because a beach trip with out awesome seafood is no fun! We highly recommend this place, it is truly some of... more
