We were checking out Cannon Beach in December where it is quite obviously the off-season and found a lot of the restaurants closed for the season. We did see the welcoming “OPEN” sign displayed here at the Driftwood Inn and Restaurant though. We also noticed the outdoor gas fire flames coming up through the rocks in their outdoor fire pit... A great place to have an afternoon snack and libation outside. With the flames coming up through the rocks at one of their tables even on a clear day in November we were able to sit outside and enjoy our friends and family.

My wife and I have come to Cannon Beach so much that we wanted to try new restaurants many of which have been here for years. The Driftwood Inn attracts those who might want a drink especially around the outdoor fire pit. However, the inside is incredibly dated. Upon entering you are met with the barrier of a set of... Walked from our hotel, headed to Bill's Tavern but saw the outside fire pit in the front and decided to stop for a drink. So glad we did! Great beers! Awesome hot toddy! AMAZING food!!! Decided to stay for a few more drinks and dinner. Cool bar type coastal feel. Super friendly staff! Was recommended the Halibut for dinner so... More

Too be frank, the food was ok, not best we had but great to have after one long day round trip. My wife had that bread with seafood soup which is really creative. Some people complained the food portion was not enough, that's totally not true. We are surprised to see how many foods were offered there. The service is... More

Stopped in for a quick beverage during a pub crawl, old school interior, however the exterior seating is nice. The fire pit makes for comfortable relaxation on a cold fall day or evening - and perfect for people watching.

We sat outside, the deck was nice. We had the fish and chips and it was really good. It came with cole slaw, soup or salad. Nice server.

My partner and I came here during a day trip to Cannon Beach based on reviews. The food was ok - a little expensive and a little bland (we shared a clam chowder bread bowl and a cod sandwich with fries). Service was good and the place was cute. All of this I would expect in a tourist place. But... More

It was a little too crowded on seating for me but food otherwise was great! I had the seafood stew which was good, but messy for eating. I had to crack my crab legs that was in my stew, I wish they wouldve put it on the side If I wouldve known thats how it was served I would have... More

We stopped for a drink and appetizer during a stroll along the town during a recent trip and could not have found a better spot. We were able to bring our dogs to the deck, and they sat happily waiting while we enjoyed draft beer, clam chowder and red pepper soup and bread, while also visiting with other guests. Service...
