Clam Chowder!

We came here because we heard the home made clam chowder (in a bread bowl) was the best…and it was! Our weather was amazing during our visit and it would have been great to enjoy the outside deck with the family but its 21 and over. That was really the only down fall to this place. Friendly staff... read more

We came in on a busy Friday night and were told it would be a 20 minute wait but were seated at a table in the bar within 5 minutes. There was one server but she was friendly and very efficient. My Dungeness Crab Louis was made with fresh mixed greens, lots of fresh vegetables, house made dressing and a... More

We stopped in here with 12 people and they handled our group very well. Not only was the service great but the meals were great as well.

The patio seating was full, as it was a perfect sunny day. We were seated promptly inside and waited a bit to be served. Our server was friendly and apologetic when she did arrive. We started with fried mushrooms, a large portion, too much for two people but they were crunchy outside, hot and soft inside. The food took quite... More

Our second night in Cannon Beach we decided to try Happy Hour at the Driftwood. We sat on the patio and service was prompt. In our experience, Happy Hour portions aren't always huge and we were hungry, so we each ordered the burger with fries and the clam chowder in the bread bowl (everything was $5 each- a great deal)... Went here because of the reviews and was so disappointed. Husband ordered the seafood stew for around $27.00 and the shrimp looked like it was right out of a can. Two crab legs, a couple of clams, maybe some salmon, unremarkable sauce. Stay away from the french dip. Had out 5 1/2 year old gran daughter with us who asked for... More

My wife and I have been dining at the Driftwood every month or two since 1992. We were going to the theater last week and decided to eat our pre show meal there. We usually sit in the lounge, but decided to eat in the dining room this visit. We started with the Tempura Prawn appetizer. This is one of... More

A lot of folks don't like Cannon Beach, but this is our favorite place to eat. Parking can be difficult, but can be found eventually.

We ate here in Feb 2015 outside on the deck. There were heaters overhead and a fire pit. Our waitress was super sweet and wonderful. Food was perfect. We talked to a lot of the locals who were there for dinner. It was an incredible place to kick back and enjoy Cannon Beach! Awesome playlist music, too.
