We stumbled on this place. It's very casual and friendly, but the food was surprisingly good. Near the center of town.

Shared a grilled chicken sandwich and and each had a cup of clam chowder. The service was excellent and the price was right.

Visiting the Oregon coast from Portland, we decided to stop in Cannon Beach for dinner on our way home. Found the Driftwood Inn and really liked the outdoor seating and ambiance of the place. Has a casual menu with a great selection so dinner was not overly expensive. We will definitely stop in here again when we're back in the... More

the chowder was delicious. the Halibut was served on a bed of chopped onion and it was all covered with a mayo & dill sauce. it was just OK, not what I expected. My husband had a chicken sandwich and said it was good. it was a beautiful day and we sat outside and that was the best part.

The restaurant could use a bit of a face lift, but the food was good. We enjoyed the clam chowder and fresh baked sour dough bread. I would visit again.

Great food and service. We made reservations during the day Wed. with an employee and were told when we got there by the host that she made a mistake!

Thank you for your review. Our servers work very hard and it is great to hear that you had excellent service. We are, however, sorry about the reservation confusion. While we do not take reservations, we do run a wait list. A wait list is a little different. It means we can pencil you in for a time and then... More

We were at Cannon Beach for 2 nights and went to the Driftwood Inn both nights for dinner. Their fish was superb and the steaks were excellent. I highly recommend.

We enjoyed our dinner at the Driftwood for our overnight stay in Cannon Beach. The Driftwood gave us the impression as being one of those venerable, well established family restaurants that serve good, straight forward fare at relatively reasonable prices. We sat outside at their communal fire pit table and had a lot of fun with total strangers. The entrees... More

Nice menu with a wide range of choices. The food is excellently prepared and the service was prompt and friendly. The inside seating has a nice atmosphere and the deck seating is really pleasant. The seafood chowder is "off the charts" good. The Early Bird specials are a great deal.

Okay food. Below average service. Not interested in coming back. ClamWin chowder was watery and se to be from the can. French fries - terrible.
