Best breakfasts in Cannon Beach

Every breakfast dish we have had in the place is great. We especially like their omelets, their special gingerbread waffles, and John's Special. Great servers, too. A family-run restaurant with lots of pride in their food and service. No credit cards accepted which usually would be a dislike but... read more

Arrived around 11:00 a.m. on a Thursday morning. There was about a twenty minute wait because of the line (a good sign). Once seated, I was served quickly and my food arrived quickly. It was well worth the wait! I had a delicious omelette, the specialty of the day, filled with ham, onions, apple, and Gouda cheese. Café mocha was... More

Nice vibe but breakfast was just ok. Their poached eggs were very very good but the salsa on the black beans was store bought and not unique. The Oat waffles were interesting but just average taste. The main thing missing was real maple syrup

The first day we did not know. Then we were told about the Lazy Susan. Great fresh food, service and a varied menu. We ate there our remaining 3 mornings and hated to leave. Their scones are to die for.

Small, homey, local eatery. Food always fresh, service quick, friendly atmosphere. I've had omelets, oatmeal and waffles there, every time I've never been disappointed. Highly recommend a visit, slightly hidden Lazy Susan Cafe.

Wow. We had breakfast at the Lazy Susan and wished we were going to be in town longer so we could eat there again. The oatmeal waffle was light and delicious and the fruit was fresh, fresh, fresh. Wonderful service from a lovely waitress. The place is small, tucked back off the street on a little courtyard, and charmingly cozy.

When in town we enjoy coming here for their special dungeous crab sandwich. We also had a nice bay shrimp omelette; however it would have been more flavorful with a sauce. Nice menu, friendly staff and good food make for a good experience? Recommend!

Had a great lunch in this quaint little spot. Only open for breakfast and lunch, and worth the visit. I had the albacore and apple salad and my wife the shrimp and melted cheese open-faced sandwich. Both were excellent.
