Consistently Good

I have eaten here both times that I've been to Cannon Beach. It is in a tiny historical house with very few tables, so I would recommend reservations. The food is very good and the wine list carries a sufficient number of good wines. I had salmon & scallops and my wife had just scallops. I'd say... read more

Right next to our hotel - we just stumbled upon it. It is in an old home and the living room and dining room serve as the dining area. It only holds about 30 people.Fantastic meal. We got the featured dinner. Worth every penny.

We've walked past to small restaurant hundreds of times and finally decided to give it a try this past week. Wow! We made reservations for 8:00 pm Friday evening and found the quaint historic home the perfect place to enjoy and intimate meal for two. The staff was professional, attentive, and you could tell they wanted to make your dining... More

On this, our 3rd visit, we were once again wowed by the quality of our evening. The well articulated menu provides a range of selections/ options. We make reservations early for this crowded little house.

We were a big group of 11 people (6 adults with 5 kids) and yet were able to be seated in their attic dining hall and private- we made reservation few days earlier. The food was nice and delicious - the crab cakes and scallops were very good. Everybody on the table finished their plates clean, including the kids. I... More

This is probably the one fancy restaurant in Cannon Beach and it is highly recommended for a nice romatic night out. It is located in an old house on the outskirts of the commercial area. They have a nice wine list. One diner ordered the lobster ravioli and was quite satisfied with the tree large ravioli and the nice sauce.... More

We enjoyed it so much, we are going back again tonight. French-Italian bistro with lcozy atmosphere, white tablecloths, fresh flowers and wall-to-wall Frank Sinatra music playing in the background. The lobster ravioli is there signature dish. Michael loved it. You can order dishes as appetizer or entree portions. Don't ask to share anything because there is a $5 split charge...just... More

This quaint little french and italian style restaurant was another surprise in Cannon Beach. Gourmet food served with quickly and in a very romantic setting with musical classics of Sinatra, Martin and more as the backdrop was a wonderful evening. The only complaint was I made special dietary requests (due to a very calorie restricted diet) which included no balsamic... More

We saw another review for Newmans at 988 that mentioned their fantastic Crab Cakes and so we went to this quaint little place for dinner. We did have the crab cakes, which are made without breading/filler and were by far the best we've ever had. If you go you must order them! We had a lovely dinner, all the food... More

We have been spending time in Cannon Beach for year's and have never had dinner at Newmans. I made reservations ahead of time because I know how crazy it can get in the area at meal times. The place is very small, but cozy. The crab cake appetizer was good, not the best I have ever had but good. Not... More
