Surprise Upbeat Eatery!

In all the years of coming to Cannon Beach, we had not tried Bill's Tavern. I went last night for the first time. I found two sections, one for families with children (to keep them away from the bar) and one section on the bar side. Bill's Tavern creates a lot of its own beers and ale in an... read more

My wife and I were camping at Cannon Beach over busy Memorial Day weekend. We enjoy dark beer and found a wonderful Porter at Bill's Tavern. We were seated promptly although they were quite busy. My wife ordered the grilled oysters (6) served with rice and salad or optional cup of clam chowder (very good). The oysters were so fresh... More

My brother and I stopped in the bar for a beer and our wives joined us later. The guy behind the bar was rude and argumentative. It took a long time to get his attention that we wanted service even though he was working in front of us. We eventually got a table and the food was ok at best.... More

we've eaten here a bunch. bill's is basically a burger and salad joint with extensive bar. the service is excellent, the prices are moderate, and the portions are bigger than average.

Avoid Bills Tavern unless you like rude service, terrible food and mediocre beers. Hamburgers were good except for cold thin bun more pickles than condiments. Fish tacos were more carrots and cabbage than deep fried fish. Stale nacho with the canned version of salsa..unbelievable rude waitress. Saving grace was the 5 piece blues band sitting 2 table away. Avoid this... More

Bill's is right in the middle of Cannon Beach and in good weather has outside tables which are just fun. The beer and the food is very good. We always eat here when we come to the beach.

Good service and decent pub food, and open late! Good beer and wine selection. A nice pub to visit while in Cannon Beach.

Wife and I stopped here again. We had tried it years ago and were no very impressed. Thought we would try it again. Bad call, for us. I had the fish and chips and thought they were just a bit undercooked. A bit translucent. Not to my liking but in all fairness - exactly the same as before so it... More

Sat at the bar. Friendly bartenders. Bartenders were busy but took time to talk about the area and give helpful travel information. Bartenders gave samples of beer and wine to try. Delicious blackberry beer on tap. It was sooo good. Hummus plate was a large portion, fresh, and tasty.
