Good view

Great view, mediocre food. I had the st innocent Pinot which was delish, but over priced. The French onion soup sounded yummy but fell flat with a watery, tasteless bowl of onions. The calamari was good. The halibut was on the dry side. I left feeling underwhelmed.

My wife and I went here this afternoon after a nice little day at the beach. We sat down and waited for about fifteen minutes for someone to take our drink order. Finally, we walked back to the hostess to let her know we still had not received any service. She was surprised but said she would let our server... More

Appitizers, drinks, and food excellent. Little over priced, but worth the view. Great place for a birthday celebration.

Because the food was so good, we ate here both nights we were in Cannon Beach. The potato - laced halibut was outstanding, as was their signature appetizer: crab mac and cheese. The service was excellent, and the wait staff was very friendly, even during a busy time

The Sand Castle Contest in Cannon Beach in June got us up early to see the participants begin their magic building in the sand. We then needed a place for breakfast and noticed the Wayfarer Restaurant, which was packed with people eating inside and out! We waited about 15 minutes and got a table inside with a wonderful view of... More

Our family asked at the info center for a restaurant with a view of the ocean. This was one of two recommended. The view from the deck was narrow, but nice. But you don't can't see Haystack Rock from the deck. There is a new patio going in, you may be able to see more from the patio. The food... More

If you want a seat with an ocean view make sure you call a few days for a reservation (especially in the summer months) Our server was really great! He remembered our orders, gave good suggestions and was very accommodating. I found the prices to be very expensive and the food was just so so. It is a big place... More

The Wayfarer is dear to our hearts because we've celebrated all kinds of family events here. They have always been so kind to us and treated us like stars. The view of Haystack Rock is the best of any restaurant in town, the menu is extensive and varied and the service is top notch. They are really thoughtful, too. We... More

I honestly wasn't too impressed. We got lucky with a great view, the service wasn't bad....it was just missing personality. When I'm at the beach, I want to have a lasting experience. It just doesn't do it for me.
