Don't miss the Haystack bread

Great little local place to pick up bread (don't miss the Haystack!) and sweets for your weekend getaway. Not much atmosphere for eating-in, but that's not why you come. :)

Cannon Beach Bakery has delicious pastries and breads, plus drinks and sandwiches. It has been operating in Cannon Beach for many years, and is very popular.

This is an unassuming little shop in Cannon Beach. I was so impressed at what I got. Prices are reasonable and service is friendly. They also do cakes.

Whenever my husband and I travel to Cannon Beach or Seaside we make a trip into the Cannon Beach Bakery. We have never had anything we did not like. If you want a loaf of their famous Haystack bread you better get there early, as it sells out quick. There cinnamon raison bread is an excellent choice to make mouth... More

Fresh baked goods and always get the marion berry coffee cake and tarts. Cookies are good too. I can't find their quality anyplace else.

We stopped in for baked good for breakfast the next morning in our room. The guy behind the counter looked like he was bored and would rather be doing something else. We placed our order, he threw the items in the bag and rang us up. This attitude makes you wonder a bit about the establishment, so we probably won't... More

Apple fritters are my all time favorite pastry so I'm pretty picky. I can honestly say that the ones at Cannon Beach Bakery are the best I've had anywhere. My husband had the chocolate raised doughnut and said the same about them. My guess is that everything they bake would rate the same opinion.

If you want a loaf of "Haystack Bread" because they'll sell out on a busy weekend. A great assortment of donuts and pastries too.

We always head to this bakery when we get to Cannon Beach because the bread and pastries are fantastic. Prices have gone up a lot, but I was willing to pay to get homemade products. I recommend that you splurge and forget the calories. Everything is heavenly.
