Fun little coffee shop that caters to locals and tourists alike. We really liked the fact that they roast their own coffee to perfection. Doughnuts are excellent. Too good. You will probably strike up a conversation while waiting in line since there was a line everyday we were there.

While I'm more of an unsweetened latte fan, I had the best mocha of my life here. I was once a barista in Seattle, so I know a thing or two about these things. My husband and I shared a giant soft cookie for $2. It's a great place to read a little and people watch, that is if you... More

We often stay a few miles away from Cannon Beach when visiting - but most mornings I drive in for coffee, doughnuts and the morning muffins. The coffee is wonderful - I buy the beans to take with me too for home - and the morning muffins - OMG! They have become a family favorite. Don't be discouraged when you... More

When you see the long line outside the Sleepy Monk, you will understand. Wait in line, its worth it. The lattes are awesome and get a chocolate donut or some other delictible pastry.

So this little coffee shop is a MUST! The line is out the door but don't let that scare you away. It moves quickly and they have the best scones and coffee around. I could tell this is a local favorite and I can see why. I can't recall the drink name that we had, but it was a specialty... More

Passed through the area and stopped for a coffee. The look of the place caught my eye, the carved log seat out front was epic. A sweet porch to relax on or tables inside with the great smell of their processes beans from all over the world. They have the coolest logo. Bought a pound as a gift and wish... More

We visited Sleepy Monk on our last day in Cannon Beach. I was very surprised and slightly annoyed that they were not open until 8am (luckily we were the first people there). HOWEVER, we were able to spend a few minutes chatting with the owner (who was very nice) and the ladies working inside were INCREDIBLY friendly. We only had... More

This is a cute little Coffee Roaster in Midtown just south of Cannon Beach. Very popular and they supply many of the restaurants in the area. Known for good coffee but surprisingly, they do not offer tea for those who do not drink coffee.

Lovely little coffee shop with fresh baked pastries (the pesto/ham/cheese croissant is to die for!). The coffee is good and the staff is pleasant. We only wished they were open a little earlier. A line formed at about 7:15AM for the 8AM opening and unfortunately people pushed to the front of the line not respecting that about 10 people had... More

Great original coffee roaster with there own brand. On the busy week-end of Sand Castle Day 2014 because the place is small but unique lines were out the door.
