Discovered Sleepy Monk coffee when it was the "house" brew at our Cannon Beach hotel. We enjoyed it so much we immediately resolved to patronize the coffee shop in town. Great call. Sleepy Monk Coffee Roasters is a gem of a gathering place. Sort of small and cozy on the inside--I can imagine snuggling in with a hot mug during... More

What a great little coffee shop! We noticed a line out the door and debated if it was worth the wait. It was worth every short second. Service was speedy and very friendly. Our 2 year old LOVED the steamed chocolate milk. This is a must stop in Cannon Beach.

A long line with friendly dogs in tow greeted us! The line moves quickly and before you know it, you have ordered your choice of 9 different blended coffees, a delicious orange and chocolate scone. You can sit inside or out and watch the world go by. A thoroughly wonderful place to have coffee and start the day.

Very friendly staff & the coffee is sooo good. You're able to look into the roasting room. There's a lot of comfy seats around :)

Great coffee, great scones, great service. We tried their specialty drinks and a couple different scones and were not disappointed! If you're looking for good local coffee, this is a great place to stop!

I admitedly have not been to the actual location but I buy their coffee all of the time from local places, and online. They have some of the best roasts I have ever had. My favorite one right now is the Monestary Blend. I moved back to the east coast, home, and order my coffee from them to have in... More

We were looking for something between a buffet and Mickey D’s for breakfast. Right across the street from our resort was the Sleepy Monk shop, specializing in organically roasted coffee with the usual assorted yummies to go with it. You can get any espresso-based cup of coffee you like and they have fresh scones (baked while you’re sleeping). This is... More

'm usually very forgiving when it comes to customer service but the few times I've been here haven't been enjoyable. Today was the worst I've ever seen. I stopped into Sleepy Monk with my wife and my mom to grab some coffee. The barista taking orders was being very rude and sarcastic with my mom and in the middle of... More

This is a great destination to bike to. They have many choices of coffee and the owners are very helpful. We picked up a couple of bags to bring home.

This is a little hobbit-like place but don't let that fool you. The coffee is killer and the pastries (LOVE the coconut pineapple scone!) are really something special. A coffee place that opens at 8 a.m.? Strange but true-- and that perfectly captures the laid-back vibe of this entire beach town. A line forms around 7:30, and even though it... More
