This is our first choice restaurant in Cannon Beach, and for good reason. Incredibly attentive staff, chef/owner who checks in with guests and absolutely perfect drinks and meals. Tonight, I stayed with my favourite pork masala, and my wife went easy with two appies, chicken skewer and tiki salad. We shared the banana dessert - very yummy! Get there when... More

We tried this restaurant for the first time during Spring Break. And after reading all the reviews, we tried to be there before the doors opened and were in line at 4:45pm. We were a party of 5 and the first to be seated. This ended up being smart because the tiny space really does fill up fast. I'm not... More

It was a great little, local place. Best chicken dish I have ever had, the haystack. My wife had the wagu steak, also excellent. If you are into desserts you need to do the bannana macadamia flambé. Super fun environment. I only wish we had discovered before our last night in town, if we had we probably would have had... More

We had hears good things about this restaurant so decided to give it a try. We went on a rainy Sunday evening, arrived at 6pm and were able to get a table right away, which apparently is not always the case...the restaurant only seats 36 and waits can be long. We ordered two beer, curried coconut shrimp on rice, and... More

The food was outstanding and the employees were very personable. The chef even came out to see how we liked the food.

Very interesting dining experience. If you read no further, it's definitely worth a visit if you are in Cannon Beach. The place itself is an oversized shack. They've apparently developed a "buzz" (as you can read in other reviews) by only being open from 5-9 and "too bad if you don't get there at 4:59" etc etc. We showed up... More

We have enjoyed dinner at Castaways a number of times over the last few years. The food is excellent and the service is outstanding. The food coming out of that small kitchen is consistently creative and tasty-often the best available in Cannon Beach. The bar is small also, but producing drinks that are perfect and make you smile. The serving... More

A bunch of us went to Castaways for the first time last week and, without exception, enjoyed every facet. The cocktails are creative and expertly blended, the food was excellent quality, and the service was perfect. We also enjoyed the décor, which is a fun tiki theme. We had heard from others that it's small and there's often a wait... More

We decided to eat here with our two 5 year olds because of the reviews read here on trip advisor. We were nervous about the kids finding something to eat but my DH and I wanted to eat some good food. We were blown away at the service and quality of the food. The flavors were outstanding! The kids loved... More
