Make sure you eat here!

We were a bit reluctant to go in given the really casual look but were seated on the front porch on a lovely warm evening and the setting was wonderful. I had the prawns which were the best ever and the warm Irish soda bread brought back memories of Ireland. I would highly recommend.

Make sure you get a reservation or you will wait in line and may miss your chance at a great meal. There were four of us. We chose the Shepherds pie, Cod w fingerling potatoes and the other two had Flank Steak.. Everything was perfectly done to each person's request. the meal was served timely, our waiter was quick, had... More

We had dinner one evening at the Irish Table. The place is small and we took the last table and it was only 6 pm. Both my husband's and my dinner choices were fantastic. My husband had pork chop and I had the steak. Both included seasonal vegetables and a starch. Both were excellent. We would certainly return on our... More

The line was around the block, but well worth the wait. The scones are probably the best on the planet and you can't go wrong with any of the baked goods. The coffee was very good. We went back several times.

Got to give the Irish Table 5 stars as well. We came here a couple of Sunday nights ago after being turned away (dismissed) by the Wayfarer hostess for a lack of reservation. the Irish Table? No reservation - no problem! We got lucky because we were seated right way with no wait. The wait staff (brothers?) were over the... More

Is it a coffee shop that becomes a high-end Irish restaurant or vice versa? Superb food that's served well in a fairly small space. Some nights the line is ridic, other nights showing up should do.

The Irish Table, which is a separate business by day know as Sleepy Monks coffee shop, gets a solid rating for its mostly Irish fare which is as good as any as you'll find in CB. The setting is more casual than say, the Stephanie Inn, but the food does not suffer as fresh local ingredients are sourced. Our group... More

We stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant, and were so happy we did! Hungry after a long day of travel, we walked from our hotel to this place. They have minimal seating but it is worth the wait! Definitely for couples or small groups of 4 or less. Not for kids, which was great because we were celebrating our... More

Great dinner last night. The place opens at 5:30 and doesn't take reservations for fewer than 4 people. People stand outside the door until it opens and then are quickly seated. We sat outside on the front porch. The waiter was very friendly, offered suggestions and returned many times to check on us. We had the Seafood Bisque and Pear/Gorgonzola... More
