One of Canby's bedt

The Wild Hare is one of Canby's best, but then Canby doesn't have many eateries. Food is generally good, as in service. Friendly local bar/restaurant.

Went to the Hare last night for dinner. We tried the fondue as an appetizer and it was delicious. Husband had the prime rib dinner and I had a petite tenderloin. Both were well cooked and tasty. Margaritas were just right as well. We will definitely return.

The service was quite slow. You could tell who were regulars, or family or best friends. They seemed to get all the attention. Had to flag down waitresses several times. Getting our food was quite timely, and not very good quality. Especially for what they charge. We had stopped going there for quite awhile because of the decrease in quality... More

Stopped in on a Friday for lunch. Special was clam chowder, shrimp salad and garlic bread. Portions were large, large amount of shrimp on the salad and the garlic bread was delicious. Bar type atmosphere, and it was quite crowded during lunch. Service was quick and friendly. Had quite a varied menu. Will go back and give some of the... More

Typical bar food and the sports bar ambience of multiple screens. The owners are fans of the old time rock and roll and host cover bands and festivals. There is a nice, rural-type outside eating area. It gets rowdy here -- especially on Fridays!

My mil and sil were in town visiting, and we were on way to tulip festival and thought we would stop and get a bite. We ordered 3 appetizers to share ( which all 3 were fabulous) and we all had a very yummy coffee nudge. Service was awesome! I think 3 different ladies helped us at different times and... More

Stop at this place because of the reviews on "Trip Advisor" and we would come back again. The service was good and the food was Great. Our son and his friend in town from Texas and the four of us were just coming back from the tulip festival and needed something to eat and chose this place after reading the... More

I love coming here because the service is always quick and efficient. Any wait person can/will help respond to any wish. I have never had a bad meal here. My go to is the halibut fish and chips.

Been coming to The Hare for years. A great hometown place to hang out, get a bite to eat and have a beer.

We eat there about twice a month for the past 3 years. It can be loud, but it's a bar/pub/restaurant atmosphere. Service is always great. When we split portions, they always put on seperate plates (small fee),but it seems that the portions are regular size! Great happy hour menu and prices until 6 p.m.
