We really enjoyed our meal from this very friendly restaurant. They really bend over backwards to accommodate every dietary need from Vegan to Carnivore with hugh portions. They serve brown rice which is hard to find in most Thai restaurants. We had a noodle dish, a curry, a side of fresh summer rolls and vegetable tempura, All of it delicious!... More

While traveling through Brookings with my daughter, we stopped here for lunch. We had looked up the reviews and it was raving about how good it was. When we ate there it was ok, but not wonderful. We were surprised. We ordered 4 different things and they were ok but not wonderful. It may have been the area. We have... More

If you truly enjoy the distinct difference between the regional and cultural styles of Thai cuisine versus typical Chinese food, this restaurant provides that authentic and healthier difference. They obviously use fresh ingredients, plus there are 1-5 levels of heat choice for the Thai food uninitiated. I select level 5 which is still not on the spicy heat level of... More

This place was recommended by motel personnel. We are so glad we went. The food was delicious and fresh and beautiful to see. The flavors and spiciness was to specification. I loved the rice with the curry we ordered. This was as good as any Thai food I have had. I will return when we pass through Brookings again.

After much deliberation we chose Khun Thai for dinner and we were not disappointed! The service was efficient and the food ever so tasty. They were very helpful with choosing our dinner.

I was just riding my motorcycle through town looking for a place to get a late lunch. The Thai food restaurant looked interesting so I stopped there. I ordered a #6 off the menu. I don’t remember the actual name of the meal, but it was full of fish and vegetables. It was surprisingly good for a small, hole-in-the-wall restaurant.... More

This Thai food is quite good. The restaurant itself looks like it used to be an old mexican joint. Its a hole in the wall almost literally, with hard access parking if you aren't familiar with it. Waitress was a bit surly, but food tasted fresh and authentic. Not the best thai I have had, but DEFINITELY not the worst.

Kuhn Thai has really good food. Be warned that there idea of mild is still spicy. It doesn't look like much but the service and food is very good.

In Brookings vacationing for a few days and decided to try this Thai food. Excellent choice... I must say. We had menu item #41 Yakisoba noodles, and #50 Garlic & Pepper beef. Both dishes had an array of veggies in a delicious sauce that mixed well with the jasmine rice. With a longer stay, we would have gone back and... More

Had several lunches here during an extended stay in Brookings. Every dish we tried was good or better. Service was good, too. Even though at times it was a bit busy, we never had to wait too long to order or to be served. And I love that they offer brown rice for 75c more. I'll upload a few photos.
