Try the baby ginger chicken salad. The pies are great, the soups, really just a fantastic spot for lunch. Long time employees are super friendly. Can't go wrong here.

I went with a friend to The Tea Room in Brookings yesterday--my third visit. I absolutely should go there more often and plan to do so. The food is fresh and delicious, prepared to order, served promptly and graciously. And then there are the desserts! My friend had fresh strawberry shortcake on a home-made biscuit. I couldn't resist the chocolate... More

The food and service is excellent and save room for their exceptional desserts! They have the largest collection of teapots I have ever seen!

They do have home made pies, very good. They have a chinese chicken salad which would be wonderful, if they used better looking chicken. Depending on who's in the kitchen, is determined on the size of the salad. I haven't found consistancy yet.

We actually went to this place in June, but it was good enough that I've been thinking about writing a review ever since. After camping in the Redwoods for a week, my boyfriend and I wanted some good home cooking. We happened to see a small sign for the cafe, so we took the opportunity. We were very impressed. We... We had one of the best sandwiches and salads at this Tea Room. The pies were simply amazing! We highly recommend this place.

I have been to this restaurant a few years ago, and this July 2013---I was totally impressed! The new owner has really made this restaurant look clean and sparkling! The atmosphere was so bright with the new paint and the menu was a lot better!

We really enjoyed our visit to the Tea Room. My family are a little fussy about their food and the staff were really helpful and amended each dish to accomodate us. We enjoyed the sandwiches and chicken salad. The desserts were beautiful and the coffee hot and plentiful. We recommend the Tea Room for brakfast, lunch and of course dessert.

The ladies at the Tea Room are always on their toes and go out of their way to make our group luncheons successful. My favorite for lunch is the Turtle Salad, but everything on the menu is great. Of course, you don't have to go with a group. It's a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee and a... More
