Obviously by the crowd inside, this is a well-liked place in Brookings. We had heard about the hamburgers so that is what we ordered. They were good -- large portions. Due to the small size of this place, it was crowded and not a place you want to go if you want to carry on a quiet conversation. But the... More

Found this gem of a place after looking at reviews on trip advisor. So glad I stopped in. Very friendly staff, progressive & fun atmosphere and great microbrews. What more could this Oregonian beer snob wish for?? I only wish I could have discovered this place earlier. If you are in the mood for a great beer and chicken wings,... More

Lowsy meat, good cold beer, the chef indicated he never had a complaint before so I must have been wrong. After three bites of gristle I think I was right. So long, Vista Pub.

I like the beer but owner was very rude . My son called for a ride home and he told me I couldnt talk on the phone . I was sitting at the bar it was packed and I could barely hear . I will never go back. Unless I feel in the mood to be abused.

Stopped by here to try the local beers on Saturday February 8, 2014. Unfortunately however, when we asked our hostess, all the local beers were out! The pub is dark, very colorful with lots of big art. We didn't eat but looked through the menu which was limited in choices. The special for the day was French Dip for $10.99... More

The Vista Inn is tiny - a bar and 6 tables. The 6 on-tap brews offered a wide range and the stout was terrific. At our table we had clam chowder, a burger with onion rings, and the special of the evening, a French dip with au jus, cheese and mushrooms. All was delicious! Highly recommend. It's not the most... The Vista Pub is the BEST place to eat, drink, & be merry in Brookings. Their motto "Good Beer, Good Food, Good People" sums up things perfectly. The food is fresh & delicious and much of it (e.g., beef, bread, cheese, vegetables) comes from local sources. The staple of the menu is build-your-own made-to-order grass-fed beef hamburgers with homemade aioli... More

My husband, 9 yr old daughter and I took a random roadtrip down Hwy 101 for my birthday. So on our way home we were getting hungry and in Brookings. I chose this place because of the excellent reviews and decided to stop.. The atmosphere was good and the waitress was friendly. They have a decent selection of local beers... More

I depend on TripAdvisor to steer us through our journey....NEVER have been disappointed. VISTA PUB ....A+++++The burgers lived up to our expectations, as did the fries. One waitress, busy time, she was excellent Do yourself a favor, parking is limited so circle the block and park yourself and get your taste buds ready!,
