Although it was very busy during our visit here, the staff turned out our sandwich orders in rocket time. Plus, the sandwiches were very good, not great, but very good indeed. We were particularly impressed with the bread and brought home two loaves for our eating enjoyment. It's worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood.

This is a great bakery and cafe. All their breads are outstanding. Love their sandwiches and soups. I live out of state right now but every time I come through I load up on bread and get a sandwich to go. Can't recommend Village Bakery enough.

The bread is amazing! Soup so tasty! Staff very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is small, casual and quaint. But the bakery - wow! Don't just try it for eating in but for take-outs and they even sell prepared frozen pie crusts, etc!

Great bread, great soups and great sandwiches. They cost is a bit high but the quality is outstanding. They also offer cookies and brownies. Today I had a salami sandwich while my husband had a sandwich and soup. We enjoyed everything we had and will return.

Just picked up soup today for our dinner. Perfect. Excellent tomato bisque with a roll. Very filling, great spices. Then I purchased some blueberry coconut scones for breakfast tomorrow.

We stopped here on our way up to Mt Bachelor. We ordered Sandwiches here to take up for lunch. My friend ordered "another turkey sandwich," and I had the veggie. The turkey sandwich was so good, it was devoured on the way up. Believe me the second didn't last to much longer once we hit the Mt Bachelor parking lot.... More

Bread; crispy, crunchy crust, soft where it needs to be, the veggie sandwiches we had were flavorful and well made. Take home a loaf of bread for dinner too, you won't regret it.

Whether you are taking something home or staying for lunch, it is a treat. Expect solid, healthy, fresh food choices, whether traditional and the bakers original twist. Always leave full and satisfied.

As noted in the title, the soup and bead are delicious. You can eat in or get it to go. The soup is available in quart size to take home and enjoy. This is an actual bakery with delicious soups and sandwiches and a plethora of yummy sweets. It is clean, staff is friendly, and easy to access.
