I read the reviews before my trip and had to check these guys out - and it's all true. The Bacon Sando was excellent, as well as the cardamon latte and ocean roll (also cardamon spiced). We actually stopped by again on our way back home to get a second round! They also have outdoor seating for those of you... More

As others have stated, the ocean rolls are divine. The coffee is wonderful. I have gone several times and I have wanted to try other things, but I cannot break my ocean roll habit. It is pastry crack...I am hooked for life.

I had the opportunity to visit friends in Bend and introduced to this awesome bakery. It is a small unique place with a large local fan base (it can get very busy and worth the wait but get there early). The Ocean rolls are the best, very flaky, moist and the cardamom is fantastic; I recommend pairing it with some... More

Stopped in for a quick coffee and pastry on a recent visit to Central Oregon. While the location is "unusual," the goodies are great. It's a very crowded place and the parking is lacking, but if you can get over that, Sparrow is a must visit...especially if your stomach is saying "feed me with something good."

We've been to Sparrow Bakery for lunch twice now and although the menu is limited, everything is great. My husband had the Monte Cristo and it was wonderful--not greasy or icky sweet, but savory. I had the Chicken Waldorf Sandwich which is on a flaky croissant (a really great croissant!) and it has chicken, grapes, bleu cheese and is dressed... More

We visit Sparrow whenever we're visiting family in Bend, mostly for the Ocean Rolls. Our niece began gnawing on them as soon as she could handle solid food, and now, at three, you might lose a finger if you try to take one away from her. I totally understand the feeling. In addition to those twists if perfection, every product... More

By far the best lox and bagel I've had in a long long time. Bagel was beautifully crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The salmon was like butter. Great meal out on the patio.

Had opportunity to try McKays Cottage Kitchen yesterday (TA's #1), and while we were happy to give them an A, we feel today's find (Sparrows Bakery) has pastries whose quality is even better! Had never had an Ocean Roll before, and it was flakey, yet crispy and spiced w just the right amount of cardamom. The almond croissant was stuffed... More

This is a must when in Bend Or! When visiting there I can't drive without stopping! Scones, bagels, muffins are outstanding! Park in the back then walk along side of building to go in front door.
