Sorry, fellow travelers. This much-vaunted and expensive restaurant failed to live up to expectations. We dined in December, before a night out at the theater. We decided to go for the full Monty; the five course tasting venue. The first course - sweetbreads - was unusual, but not very tasty. The mushroom soup was excellent, as was the entree, filet... I was looking for a quiet, romantic dinner place to celebrate our anniversary, and Ariana's fit the bill perfectly. We had a table in the corner and our waiter was both very attentive and left us alone to talk between and after courses. The tables are far enough apart that you didn't feel your neighbors were listening in on your conversation.... The bone-in pork chop with grilled peaches was excellent, also fresh scallops were great! Nice wine list.

I had the duck special. It was fatty. Husband had quail in a Indian type of sauce. Nice patio dining. Small menu and even smaller desserts! Our chocolate lava cake was ridiculously tiny and the scoop of salted caramel ice cream that accompanied it was the size of a walnut ($9). Sheesh. Over priced for sure. Service was friendly and... This is one of the best restaurants anywhere. My wife and I along with another couple all agreed it was excellent food, and exceptionally fine service provided by our waiter Ron. I'm not going to waste time talking about individual dishes. Just go and have an outstanding dining experience.

This was an outstanding dining experience. All the food was excellent and a creative menu selection. Our server was Ron and a treat to have someone so incredibly skilled, friendly, attentive and helpful with food and wine selections. Great patio seating, not crowded, with heaters when it began to get cool. There were four of us and all of us... More

Just an excellent place to have dinner, GF aware, very good choices, decent portions, and quiet. We even crossed town after our event, to return for dessert! Out of the downtown crush is a plus!

My wife and I recently celebrated our anniversary there. The food was interesting and excellent and the service attentive. Outdoor seating was perfect on a summer night. We even saw one of the cooks come out and grab a few herbs from the garden they have growing there. Really outstanding.

Recommended heavily by family in Bend this place did not disappoint. The service was impeccable and professional. The hefty price tag is well worth it. We had the shrimp and grits and bone marrow as starters. They were both fantastic. For entrees we had the filled pasta, the quail and the scallops with risotto. All were superb both in presentation... More
