We had a family dinner last night. The margaritas were great and the food was above average, but not worth the prices they charge. The service was slow, to the point where we had to wait 10-15 minutes to place a drink order. There are many other places in town that have better food, service, and value. Save your money... More

Had a nice meal, but the restaurant had trouble accommodating our food allergies. The fish dishes were dry, but the margaritas were excellent.

Just enjoyed a really delicious, flavorful meal. The salsas were fresh, unique and very tasty. You could tell that the salsa was prepared fresh daily, maybe even just moments before dinner. Our meals were really outstanding. Huge portions of fresh seafood, delicious adornments of unique sauces and delicious rice and black beans. We were waited on by the owner himself,... More

My wife and I decided to try a new restaurant tonight. It was a very nice environment. Service was great. We both ordered the seafood chimichanga and were pleased. I asked the waiter for some hot salsa to go with the normal chips and salsa. He brought out some good stuff. It was a little expensive, but I have no... More

This was a most disappointing experience. I will never go back. The owner used fowl language and cursed at someone on the phone, then threw the phone at the wall. He is intimidating and rude.

From the main road, you'd never expect to step into this lovely dining room. Glassware, table settings, wall art....it just amazed us. I ordered the chicken mole enchiladas. The sauce is made fresh each time, and have never had a mole sauce so good. Host is charming. I'll return anytime I visit Bend.

We were so very blessed by good friends who took us to Baltazar's before our relocation out of state. It's probably a good thing we discovered the restaurant on our way out of town, or else a good chunk of our "eatertainment" budget would have been captured here. The atmosphere and decor is inviting and relaxing. The only thing missing... More

My husband planned on taking me to Baltazar's for a long time now. Now I understand why. Dinner for two costed 120$. We only had 2 margaritas. I had medium size, my husband had a jumbo. For dinner I had a dish with crab, white fish, prawns, scallops, octopus(which was cooked to perfection) and veggies over rice with chipotle sauce.... More

I was a minority of one among four who would rather avoid Mexican restaurants for their oversized portions, but the meal and the service at Baltazar's was spot on. The portions while generous were not insane and the food was exceptionally tasty and fresh. Drinks were generous and delicious and service was friendly competent and good-humored. The outside patio was... More

Disappointed when we got the bill to discover that we were charged $5 just to get an extra plate! With one meal, and 2 drinks, our bill was over $40! The seafood enchilada was good, but really? My husband and I share meals because most restaurant portions are huge, and I can't eat that much! And he shouldn't eat that... More
