I love their bread!

Honestly, I would give them 5 stars if the employees were nicer. They seem to always be bothered by customers at this location. I have not had this issue on the west side - just east side. They aren't friendly or welcoming when I come in and the same gal has had the same chip on her shoulder at... read more

East Village has the most wonderful baked goods that are displayed in ways that make you want to try them all. Their soups, salads, and sandwiches are delicious and fresh. I love the breakfast sandwich on ciabatta with herbed cream cheese. This cafe is nice and open with lots of natural light from the big windows. As cafés go, it... More

Approach with caution....addictive. And best of all....great coffee! The breads and pastries are wonderful....that's the addictive part.

Excellent baked goods of every variety. Large assortment of really good breads all over priced. One of the most indifferent counter help I have ever encountered. Frequently having conversations amongst themselves while you wait till they finish, which could be ten minutes. Even though the quality is excellent, the help and prices will turn you off.

This little bakery has a beautiful selection of really good pastries. In house baked breads and muffins, house made granola and specialty items. It is very expensive for what you get. I had the breakfast sandwich special and a coffee. It was good but small and the total cost was $12.00. While I appreciate the ingredients are high quality the... More

The Eastside location is just off Hwy 20 and 27th street. Open at 7am they provide a variety of pastries, bread, breakfast and lunch sandwiches and homemade soups. For breakfast they offer just one hot meal option "the breakfast sandwich." The coffee was very good and the breakfast sandwich (egg with thick bacon, tomato and cream cheese on either plain... This little bakery and deli is so wonderful. It is near the hospital so you don't have to be stuck with cafeteria food. They make all their breads and their sandwiches are so great. I got the 'another turkey sandwich' and it has pesto on it. The bread has a nice crust on it. The soup I had was wonderful.... More
