We were a group of four. We were given out choice of available seating. The owner/chef Kayo came to our table and explained the dishes on the daily fresh menu. We had the Ciopinno (sp) wish was full of fresh seafood in a tomato base. Excellent. The clam chowder was the best I've ever had. Full of fresh clams. The... More

There were seven of us, and none of us can say a bad thing about our experience. The food was as expected (even better), and the wait staff were very attentive. The owner came out and chatted with us for a while. I started with the ahi, and oh my! It was delicious. We all ordered something different. We all... More

My husband and I were in Bend, OR, only overnight on our way down to Crater Lake and pulled in to the Econo Lodge on the main road as it would be easy to get going the next morning. The woman at the front desk recommended we go downtown for dinner but also said that the restaurant next door, Kayo's,... More

Had an early dinner after a day of sightseeing. The lobster cioppino was wonderful, small whole lobster tail, mussels, scallops, shrimp, and fish in a rich Italian tomato-based broth. Terrific service, clean place, reasonable prices.

Great bar menu and enjoyed eating on the terrace above the pool. The seafood was delicious and so was the prime rib sandwich. Enjoy

We chose Kayo's to celebrate a birthday. It was a good choice. The atmosphere is great, quiet, clean and well appointed. The menu choices are ample and exciting. We chose fish dishes and they ranged from very good to average. The French Onion soup is always an excellent choice for a starter. The wait staff is great, attentive and very... More

We were trying to find a hotel in Bend to no avail. We decided to eat and continue our search later. The restaurant is near hotels, and maybe a bit out of date in decor, but Kayos is a great restaurant. The staff were very attentive, and the menu was incredible. The daily specials included rack of lamb and abalone!... More

Great atmosphere, attentive waitstaff. I had the steak salad and the meat was cooked to perfection. Reasonable prices. Bonus was having the restaurant owner come by our table to make sure we were satisfied. Will patronize again!

I eat here every time I am in Bend. The seared Ahi is always perfect. Their house salad is the best house salad you will find anywhere. All of the waiters can help you select the best meal you can get in Bend!
