We met friends here at 8:30 on a weekend. We were next on the list when we signed in but it still took 20 min+ to be seated, so be prepared, it is a busy place. There is outside seating but it was a cool morning. We sat inside and it's a small place and it got quite loud and... More

I rated this breakfast better that what you get at Mother's in Portland, and that's saying somethng! How many ways to an eggs benedict? Visit this restaurant to find out! Mmmm...

Sometimes it's hard to live up to the hype and because this restaurant had won "best brunch" for many years we had some fear that we might be disappointed, but we were not. Overall, not a lot of seating but if it's nice outside we recommend dining al fresco with big trees around you. The eggs Benedict live up to... More

First morning in town and we hadn't shopped yet for groceries so we followed a tip and ate here...really good and creative breakfast entries! Friendly and timely service and there seemed to be a bunch of locals eating here too which is always a good sign! We all tried different foods from standard pancakes to healthy scrambles and modern takes... More

I have been going to the Victorian Café for at least seven or eight years. About once a month, my work colleague and I would go in for a brunch, on a week day. There was generally a wait, but after all - it was a popular restaurant. Not anymore. The last two times I ventured in was during the... More

Since Eggs Benedict is the Victorian Cafe's specialty, I ordered the "classic". It was superb - thick slices of canadian bacon/ham and a delicious sauce. I wasn't as fond of the way the potatoes were prepared, and probably should have ordered the applesauce. I know a previous reviewer said the service was slow. That was not my experience. I was... Had a special eggs benedict and it was terrific. Would go back in a heart beat. Best biscuits and gravy too.

Definitely go with the eggs Benedict, do not do the French toast. I had the eggs Benedict and it what they do and it's done well. I also had French toast and it was below average. The waitress was behind the curve overall. I had to ask for more coffee and was told they need to make more!! When I... More

After a few nights roughing it out in the wild there is nothing that compares to a breakfast at Victorian Cafe. It has just about everything I look for when trying to find THE place to go: fresh ingredients, relaxed atmosphere, and a menu which you know you won't go wrong no matter what you choose. If you're like me,... More

Came in for breakfast during a business trip and it was pretty quiet in the restaurant. Food was good and service was average. There was one girl serving who was pleasant. Homemade applesauce was amazing. Had a veggie omelet and toast. I would come back to try some of the other options on the menu.
