This restaurant has good seafood...but..when seated I had a menu in my hand and was told coarsely "There are menus on the table". Then I asked for a gluten free menu as I am wheat sensitive and was told the platter would work and "you can figure it out". Eventually I found a guide on the back of the menu... More

We found this restaurant while walking around Bend. We made a reservation for dinner. We were seated right away. Excellent service. Great food. So glad we found it!

Restaurant is small and decor isn't great, but who cares about the interior design when the food is delicious! Friendly waitress and we were served quickly. We had the seared scallops, New York steak and roasted potatoes, and oyster bisque. Very very good! The scallop broth was a little under seasoned, but I added just a bit of salt and... More

We had a reservation at High Tides at 7:45pm on Saturday. We were seated promptly and offered menus. The atmosphere is similar to a coffee shop. We did not have drinks and ordered at 8:00 pm. We were served fairly quickly as there was only one other table eating at the restaurant. The food was ok, nothing special or particularly... More

Ended up at High Tides when we went to another populare restaurant downtown and it was so noisy we could not communicate. The wine selection was adequate and had my favorite, King's Estate Pinot Gris so I was happy. We had a grilled mixed seafood platter with fish, oysters, scallops and shrimp that was delicious and fresh. The bread was... More

We went to High Tides with our family and both sets of grandparents. The restaurant is on the small side downtown and can get quite busy being very popular. The waitress told us the owner of 18 years is cooking tonight and all of there seafood was flown in from the coast the same day. As usual the crabcakes I... More

We arrived in Bend wanting a fish supper and were advised to go to High Tides Seafood Grill. We enjoyed our first visit so much we went two nights later to try something different. All of our dishes from both nights were perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The dishes with the Asian influence are to be commended. The staff... More

The smoked salmon chowder was excellent but the real compliment to the chef is his delicious crab cakes. They were so moist and melt in your mouth. The crab salad I had was fresh and crisp. I definitely will recommend and return.

Razor clams are my all time favorite food. These clams were from Alaska which are not a good as Oregon clams, but still delicious. I eat here ever time I come to Bend which has been many times over the years. This is the best restaurant in the city in my opinion. Wonderful seafood Great chowders and cioppino appetizer.
