My wife and I celebrated an anniversary and we were not disappointed. The patio view of the river was extraordinary. The food was excellent. Service was a little confused at times, but hard-working. We found the prices reasonable for the quality of food served. We would definitely come here again.

We dined on the patio overlooking the river, and enjoyed a couple of light summery entrees and a drink. The food was good, service was a bit brisk but professional, and our only negative is that happy hour is confined to the indoor portion of the restaurant, not the patio - a point that is not clearly made on the... Place a great atmosphere. We ate inside and I think outside would have been better, better views as it sits on the shore of Mirror Lake. If you are comfortable paying the prices, this would likely rate a "Very Good". Folks who know me know that I'm not a big one for white table cloth restaurants with prices to match.

Great lunch on the beautiful patio, right next to the river, under huge trees that kept us cool on a hot day. The burger and salads were good, and the menu featured local Bend microbrews yum. The cobbler made a great dessert. The inside of the restaurant was tired and dated, so skip that and go straight to the lovely... More

Had dinner with friends at the new upgraded Pine Tavern. Unfortunately food was not the best. My halibut was very dry and tasteless. Husband had salmon and said he has had worse and better. Even their famous rolls were just doughy rolls. Not in a hurry to return.

We have been going to the Pine Tavern for twenty years. We endured the transition from the old owner to their next generation (disappointed). The family finally had the wisdom to retire from the restaurant business and sold it to Mr. McCormick of McCormick & Schmick's fame. Back we went to try out the new management. The food was wonderful.... More

We just stopped in for Wine and an appetizer. The French onion soup is yummy!! Prices were a little higher than I expected but the food was fresh. A patron at a neighboring table said they change the menu daily. That explains why the server was not very familiar with some of the choices. This would be a great place... More
