On February 1st 2012, nearly 25 years after our Bond Street Public House opened as the original home of Deschutes Brewery, we tapped the keg on a new era. Our newly expanded Pub offers more space, more seats, more service and one long-awaited less: wait times. As always, our talented team of chefs use only the finest ingredients, with an emphasis on fresh and handcrafted products. Everything possible, including sausage, breads and mustard is made on premise. Even your burger will come from local beef partially raised on feed recycled from our brewing process. And Bond Street remains your ringside seat on limited batch and experimental brews as well as year-round classic brews.

Hops Hummas and Beer

We had the hops hummas platter with a few beers, and it was the perfect snack midday. Generous portion to share and a vast assortment of brews to choose from. Overall casual atmosphere and local vibe with super friendly service. Only issue, seemed their meals were priced a little more than other local brewhouses. But smelled great.

I've been drinking Deschutes Beer for a long time and it was really cool to see the place where it all started for them, including the brewpub. The food is some of the best you'll ever get at a pub and the beers are delicious!

This pub is a gold mine! It's about one thirty pm on a Saturday. Had to wait about thirty minutes for a table next to a service area. The burger I had was good but the bun was cold . The fries were good and hot. The kids got child pizzas and liked them. My Wife had the Chicken Cesar... More

We were in Oregon, so we had to go to all the breweries! Deschutes was the first one we went to, and was very good! We went on a Friday night, and it was crowded, but it took about 45 minutes for our party of 4 to get a table for dinner. The brew pub is MUCH bigger on the... More

The staff quickly got our party of 8 a table. They were quick to bring out the beers and drinks. And they were very accommodating to the kiddos in our group. The sweet potato chips were some of the best potato chips I have every tasted! They were gobbled up in about 30 seconds by our hungry table. The elk... More

Went here while traveling around Oregon. This place should not be missed. The atmosphere of this place is really nice, you get the feeling you're in an Industrial West building. The service is great. Expect to wait, though, as this place is busy at night. You can walk around town a little bit while waiting but not too far, as... More

This is an awesome place for beer lovers! We went here for 2015 Zwickelmania and it was one of our favorites. We sat at the bar and met some great people. The service was awesome-especially considering Zwickelmania. We had been eating all day so just had a pretzel which was very good.

Menu is average. The beers are good but poor wine selection and no mixed drinks available. We often have to wait to get seated which would be totally fine if it was terrific.

Deschutes Brewery is not my favorite brewpub but it was the first one here. And, if you are visiting Bend, you should drop in. The food is not great but the loud and fun atmosphere makes for a good experience.

What was billed as 15 minute wait turned into 50. Service was slow and erratic. Waiters response, " I have seven tables, what do you expect?" Ordered a burger to go for a father and son who couldn't take the wait, and were billed for said burger and end of meal, but had to wait again as they had not... More

We appreciate that you took time to review your experience at Deschutes Brewery and Public House on Monday night the 16th. We try to do the best we can at estimating wait times but in your case we were not close. We are sorry about that. Your server did forget to put the order for your to-go burger in because... More
