Description: On February 1st 2012, nearly 25 years after our Bond Street Public House...
On February 1st 2012, nearly 25 years after our Bond Street Public House opened as the original home of Deschutes Brewery, we tapped the keg on a new era. Our newly expanded Pub offers more space, more seats, more service and one long-awaited less: wait times. As always, our talented team of chefs use only the finest ingredients, with an emphasis on fresh and handcrafted products. Everything possible, including sausage, breads and mustard is made on premise. Even your burger will come from local beef partially raised on feed recycled from our brewing process. And Bond Street remains your ringside seat on limited batch and experimental brews as well as year-round classic brews.

Good beers, okay foods

I had better foods than this restaurant has to offers, but the main reason I came here is their microbrews. If you're into microbrew, this is a must in Bend. Crowded place, expect some waiting time for a table. Good friendly service. Definitely come back.

My kids are in their 20's. They loved tasting different beers and taking home beer steins. Appetizers were scrumptious!

We had fish and chips--cod. Outstanding. Unusual for cod fish and chips to be quite that tasty. The beer is wonderful. The fries were so good we took home the leftovers. Place was crowded and busy though--seems typical of Bend. Had to wait for about 20 minutes.

Stopped here for a beer and dessert. I had the peanut butter pie and it was AMAZING! Super rich. Piece was big enough to share. So good!

Never had a bad visit. Lived in California, New York City and Oregon and come here every time I'm back. My vote for best brew pub in the US. Always new beers on tap and the food always has a twist to the grill style menu that is spot on.

Based on previous reviews, we decided to try it out. Beer selection was well explained. Dinner was excellent. I had the pan seared cod & hubby had the meatloaf. Both were hot, delicious & plenty of food!! The waiter was great also!

We enjoyed a number of brewpubs during a recent visit to Bend. We chose Deschutes Brewery as it was highly rated on TripAdvisor and we can get the beer at home. We were really disappointed. The beer was average, the food was not good and the service was poor. There are many choices in Bend, suggest you try another.

We are sorry that your experience at Deschutes Brewery and Public House was not what you expected. It sounds like the three items you listed did not live up to the standards that we have set for ourselves as well. It would be great to get more information from you regarding your visit, so we can improve and get better.... More

We've enjoyed Deschutes beers packaged and on tap, but our experience at the restaurant in Bend was a disappointing. The beers were dull, without kick or interest, flat in character and flavor. Likewise, the food was bland and uninteresting. Our server was efficient and cheerful, and our food actually came out too quickly. Service notwithstanding, we do not recommend this... More

Thank you for the feedback and we are sorry that you found our food and beer uninteresting and bland. We are very glad to hear that the service was good but one out of three is not good enough for us. We are continuously trying to improve what we do and if we could get a little more information from... More

What a great experience. The place is nicely done. Very inviting atmosphere. The service was somewhat lacking as the servers were sharing all tables so no 1 server made sure you had everything you needed. Again, the food and the beers were top notch!
