Description: On February 1st 2012, nearly 25 years after our Bond Street Public House opened as the original home of Deschutes Brewery, we tapped the keg on a new era. Our newly expanded Pub offers more space, more seats, more service and one long-awaited less: wait times. As always, our talented team of chefs use only the finest ingredients, with an emphasis on fresh and handcrafted products. Everything possible, including sausage, breads and mustard is made on premise. Even your burger will come from local beef partially raised on feed recycled from our brewing process. And Bond Street remains your ringside seat on limited batch and experimental brews as well as year-round classic brews.

The brewery seems to reflect the personality of Bend - university student who does not want to leave the campus. Bend loves their beer, bikes, water sports and food. The restaurant was great, especially the bar area where kids are not allowed. Great selection of their standard brews plus their experimental brews - get a taster before ordering the full... More

Beer was OK, not as good as I thought it would be. Beautiful upstairs deck and very nice staff. All 4 of us thought the food was only so-so, not worth the price tag.

There was a bit of a wait for a table so had dinner at the bar. My husband had a beer that isn't sold in stores. He was very happy! We both had great meals (burger and boar meatloaf). The service at the bar was good too!

We love this place. The beer is so good, but the food is very good too. I had the Elk burger and my husband had the meatloaf. Both excellent. The service was good too. We didn't have to wait - but we sat in the bar area, The growler was expensive - a liter was $28, but it's a really... More

At the end of a long day in the great outdoors around Bend, Deschutes is a popular watering hole - be prepared to wait for a table (or just take a walk in the lovely downtown district) Beginners to beer should try the sampler to decide what they like, there's plenty of seasonal brews for the seasoned enthusiasts as well.... The food was good. We all had the bean soup, and it was delicious. I was not very hungry, so I just ordered the soup and the pretzel with the beer cheese dip. It was really yummy and hit the spot. My husband had the boar sausage and he enjoyed it. Our friends were very satisfied also. Service was good... More

Friendly servers, great beer and yummy burgers. Their sweet potato fries were excellent--sweet but not overly so with a bit of a smoky flavor. You may have a wait to be seated, but you will be glad that you did. Definitely do the Deschutes Brewery!

I went to Deschutes Brewery Public House for lunch the other day while on vacation. I heard that they had great food and some great beer as well. Everything I heard was spot on. I had the Pub Burger and had some bacon on it at the suggestion of the bartender. I tried 5 of their beers while I was... More

Line out the door. Every table full. Bar shoulder to shoulder. Service was fast and wait staff was still smiling and friendly at 9:30PM. Prefer Hoppy beers? read the descriptions of the brew carefully. Wait staff was knowledgeable but I prefer a bite all the way through a beer and not rounded off with malt. Ordered a Miso soup. Miso... More
