We met friends of ours for breakfast. We were visiting Bend and they recommended McKays. We were not disappointed. We ate outside on a picnic bench. There were 4 adults and two children. The service was speedy and pleasant. The food was delicious. The menu had quite a few choices. The server even brought one of the children a special... More

Had a terrific breakfast. We were seated in the "library" which was cozy and away from the noise of the crowds in the main dining area. Would have loved to be seated outside, but the place was packed and there was no wait for indoors. The egg sandwich was huge and the potatoes were browned nicely. All wait staff we... More

Thank you for some of the best food we have had in a long time. My family was there on 6/6/14 for lunch and I accientally locked my son in the car. Your staff kept my daugther enteretained while my mother and I tried to figure out how to get my son out of the car. Thankfully one of you... More

Had breakfast here during our visit the week of July 4th. I had a fruit crepe special, which was excellent. The staff was very friendly and they have very pleasant outdoor tables that are dog friendly - they even give the pooches biscuits!

One of the best breakfasts I've had. The special was great, the seating was great, the weather was great, the staff was friendly, the food was A+. Most important... They have a lemonade mimosa that was spectacular. Yum yum and bUZz buzz. Bend Oregon has some if the best restaurants ever.

We love going here when visiting bend. They are so kid friendly. Brought us out fruit and crackers when we sat down for the toddlers and they have crayons and wax sticks. The food is awesome and the staff is friendly. Obvious why it's the #1 restaurant in bend!!

We decided we hadn't been to McKay Cottage in too long and went in honor of my father, whose last name is McKay and had very recently passed away. It was crowded and hard to park, but we decided to head in anyway. We got seated immediately and every single person was more than friendly. The food.. was fabulous. The... More

This HAS to be on your list of places to eat when in Bend. The cottage is the coolest little place, surrounded by a quaint area, and a nice outdoor setup! The food was unbelievable! I had the lemon ricotta pancakes with fresh berries and they honestly were the best pancakes of any kind I've had in my life -... More
