Went for breakfast this morning, so glad we got there at 7:15, because by 8:15 there was a line, and this is not a small place. Got the chicken tortilla, poached eggs, home-made salsa specialty, can't remember the name, but it was so good, it is hard to describe. My sister is a vegetarian and substituted a homemade black bean... More

We were in Bend for 4 mornings and we ended up eating breakfast at McKay Cottage 3 of those mornings. This was too good not to keep coming back and trying something different on the menu. I had eggs, bacon, potatoes, and a blueberry muffin the first morning which was entirely too much food for me to eat. The second... More

Drop in for a late lunch...wow what a great discovery. Had the Cobb salad with thousand island dressing. Every thing was fresh, even the home made dressing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Price was good considering the quality of food and service. Will return again when in the area. The setting was great former craftsman house turned in to a... More

Picked this restaurant based on reviews on Tripadvisor. My husband and I stopped here for breakfast on our way out of Bend. It's conveniently located for road trippers as it's near the road to Sisters. We arrived early on a Saturday morning and didn't have to wait long. Opted to sit inside which is very homey. Food and service were... More

We met friends of ours for breakfast. We were visiting Bend and they recommended McKays. We were not disappointed. We ate outside on a picnic bench. There were 4 adults and two children. The service was speedy and pleasant. The food was delicious. The menu had quite a few choices. The server even brought one of the children a special... More

Had a terrific breakfast. We were seated in the "library" which was cozy and away from the noise of the crowds in the main dining area. Would have loved to be seated outside, but the place was packed and there was no wait for indoors. The egg sandwich was huge and the potatoes were browned nicely. All wait staff we... More

Thank you for some of the best food we have had in a long time. My family was there on 6/6/14 for lunch and I accientally locked my son in the car. Your staff kept my daugther enteretained while my mother and I tried to figure out how to get my son out of the car. Thankfully one of you... More

Had breakfast here during our visit the week of July 4th. I had a fruit crepe special, which was excellent. The staff was very friendly and they have very pleasant outdoor tables that are dog friendly - they even give the pooches biscuits!

One of the best breakfasts I've had. The special was great, the seating was great, the weather was great, the staff was friendly, the food was A+. Most important... They have a lemonade mimosa that was spectacular. Yum yum and bUZz buzz. Bend Oregon has some if the best restaurants ever.
