The first thing I noticed was the line of customers waiting to get in to the diner. I looked down at the side walk and saw big bear paw prints and along side there were baby paw prints. The black bear mascot greets the customer and children as they approach the diner. Hot coffee was available for the customer who... More

My wife and I were on a short trip to Oregon where we attended a Train Show for N Scale modelers. It came time to eat so we decided to try Black Bear Diner as it was on our way. As we entered we were greeted by a costumed "Black Bear" and a smiling greeter. We were seated immediately and... More

We have gone here a couple of times and both times the food was great, prices are reasonable and the staff/service is stellar.......the place does get very very busy on weekends. Both times we were there for breakfast and no complains.

We've eaten at Black Bear Diners here in Beaverton, to on the way to Bend, to on the way to CA. Every time, the service is good and the food is decent. Breakfast is fast with you average pancakes eggs etc. and coffe is ok but not fancy. had lunch and dinner items too but not a lot of options... More

Nice all American food. The salmon was way overcooked as was the fried chicken. The salmon veggie entre came with a little cup of chicken gravy? on the plate. Go figure! The tuna salad was ok. Good selection of fried food.

I have enjoyed many meals at various Black Bear Diners, and was looking forward to trying the one in Beaverton. Yikes! I don't know what happened here, but the food was awful. I ordered a salad that came drowned in sweet, syrupy dressing, and littered with brown squishy nearly-dead mushrooms. My husband's burger was severely overcooked (even though he requested... More

Like several other Black Bear Diners I have been to in Oregon, this one does not disappoint either. Breakfast is very good. I particularly love their thick bacon! Service is always good and servers are friendly. This is already a very popular place but since it's right next to a good motel, if you go there at prime time of... More

I had heard so much about the Black Bear Diner that when I was finally in the neighborhood I stopped by for breakfast. We were there about 08:30 on a Saturday and there was a line out the door about 25 people deep. We discussed pushing down the road to another place but decided to stick it out. And it... More

Food was good but not fantastic but they give you huge portions. It was more expensive than I thought it should be. I've only been here twice. Once for breakfast and once for dinner. When I came for dinner they were out of certain food items that I'd ordered and had to order something else instead, that was disappointing. I... More
