We eat here at least once a month, either with friends or family. Very busy on the weekends-they'll give you a pager and self serve coffee by the front door. We try and go during the week. The food is good comfort food, for breakfast, lunch or dinner. For breakfast Hubby usually orders the "Grizz" or the "Volcano"-they do a... More

We just love this diner. The food is always good and hot. Waitstaff is very friendly and keep your drink filled. Bathrooms are spotless, which I find is a good thing, small gift shop to buy yourself a souvenir. Will go back.

Black Bear Diner is one of the best places to get breakfast. I always order the Volcano here (10 bucks) and you get three big buttermilk pancakes, 2 sausages, 2 bacon and eggs. I can never finish the entire thing. All the times I've been there with my love ones, we've gotten great service. The food is great as well,... More

My husband and I love to eat here. This is our go to place for breakfast. We have had lunch and dinner here also which is great. Lines can be long for breakfast, but it's worth the wait. My faves are the California omelet & biscuits and gravy. Their sausage is homemade and delicious!

The first thing I noticed was the line of customers waiting to get in to the diner. I looked down at the side walk and saw big bear paw prints and along side there were baby paw prints. The black bear mascot greets the customer and children as they approach the diner. Hot coffee was available for the customer who... More

My wife and I were on a short trip to Oregon where we attended a Train Show for N Scale modelers. It came time to eat so we decided to try Black Bear Diner as it was on our way. As we entered we were greeted by a costumed "Black Bear" and a smiling greeter. We were seated immediately and... More

We have gone here a couple of times and both times the food was great, prices are reasonable and the staff/service is stellar.......the place does get very very busy on weekends. Both times we were there for breakfast and no complains.

Nice all American food. The salmon was way overcooked as was the fried chicken. The salmon veggie entre came with a little cup of chicken gravy? on the plate. Go figure! The tuna salad was ok. Good selection of fried food.
