A return to village italy

Non-pretentious menu, all locally sourced ingredients, done with care. A touch of Italian "home" cooking, served by knowledgeable servers who also know their wine pairings. These people care about what comes to the table. Our last visit was to attend Italian movie night...great fun!!,

Although we have lived here for 10 years, somehow we have missed Mingo. Tonight's meal left us wondering why we took so long. There was nothing about the food or service for which either of us had a complaint. My wife's scallops were as tasty as she has ever had. With 6 large scallops, this was not a skimpy meal.... More

Deliciousness all around! Excellent service, just the right amount of attention. Decent prices. Their gnocchi with rabbit was superb, as were the savory crepes. The Ode to Robert dessert drink was a perfect decadent finish. Will definitely go back!

Have anerge for pasta try Mingo. Wanted some wine and pasta for dinner and went to Mingos. Oregon Pinot and wild mushroom & cheese stuffed ravioli covered with a sherry cream sauce was my choice. Got to say it was great. Not the diet plate but something you will appreciate it for sure. Been here 6-7 times and have never... More

My wife and I just walked into this place after a function literally next door. The greeting at the entrance was not very welcoming. However, once we were seated we were served by Tricia who was really marvellous!..she had such a cheerful demeanour and a lovely smile..that made our evening. We ordered the beet and kale salad as a starter,... More

I've been to Mingo many times over the years and have my favorite dishes. I've also been to Italy to visit my relatives so I know a bit about how Italian food is supposed to taste. On a recent visit to Mingo in Beaverton, it seems that the kitchen is leaving out key aspects of the dishes we had, leaving... More

We are so thankful that Mingo is in Beaverton! Our choices for good quality dining is very limited in Beaverton so when we don't want to drive over the bridges, we head to Mingo. We have been going to Mingo since it opened and have never been disappointed. Good quality, good atmosphere and excellent servers are part of the Italian... More

My husband and I have been going to Mingo for years. We return again and again because the food is simply superb. Martin, their chef and his kitchen staff, turn out food that is meticulously done, well-flavored and beautifully presented. The food is fresh, much is sourced locally I'm sure and is just beautiful. The service staff, most of whom... More

On the recommendation of our Italian son-in-law we went to Mingo for dinner. My car has a concierge feature which made a last minute reservation for us--or tried to. The concierge was told that they were not taking reservations, as they had two very large groups that night, but that if we showed up they would try to seat us.... More
