Nice place and certainly popular. But we were surprised that it has no glutten free menu (in Portland?) and a very small selection of fresh seafood (in Portland?) Our brick chicken was tasty, service very good--so we will try agaiin after phoning about seafood selections Yes, this is an Italian place, but the Italians like seafood, don't they?

We come up to Beaverton once or twice a year and this has become our go to restaurant for dinner. The food is consistently great and the service is always friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

For me, the test for a really good restaurant is to experience food that you could never prepare yourself, experience food that is so different and tasty that it has a WOW factor, and that leaves you with some fond, fond memories. Mingo has somehow failed in this respect, and although it was OK, I would not highly recommend it.... More

If you want excellent Italian food on the Westside of town Mingo's is the place. Great wine selection, great food, good service. A little expensive for what you get, but the quality is there, and it is consistently good. When the weather is warm, they open the doors to the park and the ambiance is unique. Great restaurant for couples.

I visited in here in last week with my colleagues. Interior is normal family restaurant not specified to italy. I ordered a dinner course. Appetizer was leaf salad. and main was beef pasta. And desert was a piece of chocolate cake. What about tasty, it's good, even if it's little salty and too sweet. It would be matched local people's... More

Met up with gal pals for 5pm dinner on a Monday night. Got table next to open doors onto Round courtyard on a pleasant March evening. My two friends order their special lemon drop and said it was prob the best lemon drop they've ever had. I had a glass of a nice red wine. We shared the large meat... More

Nice restaurant, good food, nice wine selection laid back vibe. Would recommend all the choices we made for Valentines Day dinner: Louie Lychee cocktail (sweet amd strong), Chioppino (a light broth version, well cooked seafood plus aldente veggies), Ravioli in Wild mushroom sauce, and the Panna Cotta for desert (rich and creamy, hearty texture).

There seems to be some inconsistency at Mingo. I have had delightful homemade ravioli and pork scallopine. My Chinese wife had penne and gnocchi which she was less thrilled about. Is it the restaurant or did the restaurant find out what I have known for some time. Thought I was marrying "Delicate Flower." Turns out I married "Raging Tiger."

Five of us including Noah (7) enjoyed a birthday meal on a busy Friday night. Servers were most attentive, and every dish was pronounced delicious. My salmon was juicy and succulent, served on a bed of greens with pasta and scrumptious rounds of roasted delicata squash. Michael devoured his risotto with mussels with gusto. Joe pronounced the chicken cacciatore fabulous... More
