Outstanding food 95% of the time

Nonna Emilia's is a quaint little Italian restaurant that has been around for decades now. 95% of the time, their food is incredible. On rare occasions, something goes awry in the kitchen and it's just average. The service is the same; usually quite good, but every once in a while, watch out for... read more

All the food is so great. The lunch buffet is really good too. The Veal is good and the lasagna is excellent.

I am a born Italian and have many opportunites to eat good Italian food. However, this is not what I would call good Italian fare. I have tried it on numerous occasions and have always been disappointed. They do seem to stay busy, but I think that is because it is one of the only ones in the area and... More

My husband and I like to go here for our anniversary dinner, but it is also great for families and casual dinners. Everyone always wants to take care of you and their food is absolutely fantastic! I have never had a bad experience here nor heard friends having negative experiences...always great!! Keep up the good work!!

Oh my! What has happened to this Beaverton Icon!. I'm so sad to give it one star. The Nonna Emilia pizza I wanted so bad had been baked in a hotel pan and was covered to keep it warm. My heart must of stopped and time stood still at I stared at pizza in a hotel pan. NO, REALLY !?... More

As others have noted, the portions here are enormous. We ordered two entrées and each of them could easily have served four people. In fact, when the waiter brought the food, he also brought take-home containers with him because he knew that we would not be able to finish it. That, in itself, is a red flag for me because... We have driven by this restaurant numerous times and the place is always surrounded by cars. We finally stopped. A busy Saturday night, 25 minute wait is to be expected. My wife ordered the cannelloni, I ordered the lasagna on the servers recommendation. A small antipasti plate comprised of a few vegetables salami, cheese and pepperoni--it was tasty. Salads arrived... More

Really good food. I enjoy things off their menu. But last couple times I've been there (only been there 3 different occasions) I received sub-par service from the staff. I waited for my plate for 45 minutes on Thursday night but the waitress couldn't give me the time of day.

I will NEVER go back! I attempted to have dinner at Nonna Emilia's Italian restaurant and ordered a pasta dish that I couldn't even manage to take a second bite of. Apparently if you send a dish back the chef charges you a return fee of $4.95. The waitress explained that it wasn't her call. The restaurant charges that because... More

The restaurant is rather eclectic in appearance but the food is the reason for the visit anyway. Pizza is the Thick crust kind. Calzone can be split with 2 salads for a great evening out with your sweetheart. Lasagna is thick and googey good! There is the soy product for the cheese pizza requests. Music has been the accordion minstrel... More
