decarli restaurant is where rustic meets modern. Chef/owner, Paul DeCarli, pulls from his Swiss-Italian roots to create a menu that reflects his heritage as well as combine local Northwest ingredients. Polenta fries with gorgonzola butter, mussels in fennel-saffron cream sauce, and espresso-braised shortribs are just a few of the many "must-haves.” Soaring open beam ceilings with rustic brick walls add to the ambiance of this 1924 historic building.

Best Upscale in Beaverton

The food is excellent. Service is very good. Happy hour is very good, but don't sit by the door in winter! Very cold wind comes every time someone walks in. The short ribs are amazing and they have one of the best hamburgers around in happy hour. This isn't a cheap place to eat, but the... read more

This was a first visit. Myself and a girlfriend wanting to try something new. The parking was on the street but we both easily found spots for a 6:15 pm reservation mid-week. The atmosphere was charming - a little darkly lit so challenging for reading the menus, but our waitress was superb. We received spot on recommendations for the wine... More

I made a reservation and our table was ready when we arrived. We started with a cocktail, had their famous polenta fries, and I really enjoyed the Caesar salad. I Also had their beef short ribs. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. Our server was polite and she took good care of us. We were allowed to enjoy our company and... More

I forget sometimes when I am eating dinner at Decarli in downtown Beaverton that I am not sitting in some swanky New York City Italian Bistro. The food is quite simply put, "remarkable" and has been since this place opened in 2007. If you don't have the time (or money) for a full on dinner in the dining room, the... More

Obviously, when rated the #1 restaurant, one expects superior food & service so your expectations are pretty much set when you arrive. Your first impression is always established by the greeting at the door & then the level of table service. In this case, DeCarli sets the mark, the waitress was top notch, patiently explaining each dish when asked, making... More

It had been a while since we'd been to Decarli's which used to be packed at happy hour with folks lining up to get in the door. We got there about 30 minutes late and found an empty table at the bar for Happy hour. In a year the prices have really gone up to the point where the happy... More

So awesome that we have our own little Pearl District in Beaverton, with long-standing Decarli heading it up, and neighboring Du Kuh Be, Nak Won and the new Big O's Wood fired pizza. Bring on the carts and Beaverton will finally make the map. Hadn't been to Decarli's for happy hour in a while but it was just the same... More

Who would have thought there would be this great a restaurant in Beaverton? Food, service, atmosphere, it's all there. Enjoy.

Decarli is in downtown Beaverton or "old town". If you want some really great farm to table, fresh ingredients and nice atmosphere, there aren't a lot of non chain spots in the burbs. The bar has a nice happy hour and is usually crowded, good happy hour nosh. Reservations for the restaurant are a good idea. Around the corner is... More

I don't even remember the food; only went there twice. I just don't like noisy restaurants, although I know a lot of people think that noise equals excitement, and that if it's that packed then they must be in the "in" place.
