Our party of 4 ate up stairs with a beautiful view of the harbor Saturday night. The service was perfect I base my food selections on several of the comments posted here so I had the prawns and halibut Romeo which was very nice and a huge portion. The house salad was delightful, everyone enjoyed it, and the appetizer of... More

Hoped to have great clam chowder but it was too thick for my taste. It was also served warm rather than hot. Fish and chips were good. The fresh crab was outstanding in both a sandwich and in a Louie salad. Service was pretty slow. With so many choices in town, it may be a while before we get back... More

Food is well prepared and the servers are professional and nice. The menu has some wonderful dishes and the prices are just a little tall in my opinion.

Sadly, the Wheelhouse, where we have been coming for 25 years, has gone downhill. The salmon fish and chips, once best on the planet, are now soggy, dull and oversalted. And the butter mints are gone. However, the real experience was the waiter. I ordered one plate to share, but she came with two, a forgivable mistake when there are... More

I actually enjoyed the food here, but would never return again simply because the service was beyond a joke. When we first arrived, the restaurant was actually very busy - so busy that we got the last table, however, most people were finishing their meals and within minutes we were one of only a handful of tables that had people... Sunday night brought a limited selection of restaurants to choose from. After looking at the highest rated places, some of which were close, and some of which were too expensive, we chose the Wheelhouse, upstairs in the Lookout Lounge, which worked out very nicely. Service was excellent, view was excellent, there was a full bar, and the food was excellent... More

We arrived late monday afternoon.. This was the only place open and the gods did not smile upon us. The food wasn't hot, the veggies seemed old, service slow, the fish was just ok.. This is a tourist eatery and you have to wonder why no locals eat there.. The reviewer who rated the food mediocre was too kind...Horrible would... More

My wife and I just had the worst meal that we have had in many years, if not the worst ever. Wife had seafood crepe which was inedible. I tasted it and had to agree. The seasoning and presentation were just terrible. It looked some type of baked dish that had been heated up in a microwave. Flavor was non-existent... More

The service was friendly and attentive. The menu was just OK and so was the food. Four of the restaurants in town were closed so this was a port in a storm.
