We used to love coming here to enjoy great food, relaxation & the view. No more.

It's winter so there aren't many tourists; however, the prices at the Wheelhouse lead you to believe the food might be exceptional, which it was not. Canned mushrooms, skimpy, nearly turned salad, rice ball. Only great thing - the wine choice. At these prices, we won't be back.

We opted to eat up in the Crow's nest. Nice and comfy, sitting in front of a nice TV watching the college football national championship. We were the only ones in there most of the time. I ordered a dungenous crab louie and it was fabulous! Tasted just like the ones I used to enjoy at SF's Fisherman's Wharf. Only... More

I have been there in the past , and the food has been better .For what you spend on the meal it should have been exceptional. The atmosphere was nice , I wished i could have been by the firerplace. Our waitress gave us some good travel advice about a road closure on highway 42.

Try the cranberry chicken, it's delicious!! The red potatoes and veggies were seasoned just right. Just the right amount of food that none is wasted. The staff were friendly and offered suggestions.

Had dinner here while staying overnight in town. It was late and hardly anyone there but they were happy to see us anyway. We enjoyed fresh salmon and scallops for our main courses and split a yummy dessert. Service was friendly and prices reasonable. A great recommendation from our hotel.

We just stopped for coffee on New Years Day. It was very cozy. Couches, fire place, games and puzzles, a great view and friendly service.

Sat at the table for 5 minutes before any contact was made by the wait staff. Then the person didn't bother to take a drink order or volunteer any information about the menu. Food came out but was wrong. The order was corrected and the fish came back undercooked! Both dishes had rice that was bland and the vegetables were... More

Food great. Menu great. Service poor. Two word sentences to me as a single diner. Full laughter and service to the party of four behind me. Went to the restaurant last night and the English server was fabulous. Unfortunately for the party of four....the server spilled a pitcher of water on them. Had to replace the meal for them. I... I found this place to be just O.K. The staff was friendly and the food was O.K. There was just nothing that stood out at this place. It seemed a bit overpriced for what we got. It was acceptable, but not a place I would return to.

We always stop in Bandon on our way south to California. For a number of years we have eaten at the Wheelhouse. In the past I have enjoyed the oyster stew, but for the past couple of visits we have ordered the scallops served with a linguine cream sauce. The scallops were perfectly cooked and the linguine was also just... More
