This is a total chef-driven experience. The food is EXCEPTIONAL and worth the prices. Plates are small but huge favors abound. Wine selection is great, but expect a measured pour. If price is not an object, you would eat there all the time. Definitely a special event location.

Do not order the gnocchi. It is mashed potatoes shaped like gnocchi. Others in my party were happy with their orders.

Classic Italian potato gnocchi are comprised of mashed potatoes, eggs, flour and seasonings shaped into the traditional gnocchi dumpling shape and boiled like pasta. A specialty in Northern Italian regions such as Lombardia and Piemonte, potato gnocchi are wonderful smothered in a Fontina cheese sauce with truffles or with a simple tomato sauce. More

Great staff and a very nice menu. It changes regularly but I went there 3 times on my last visit to Bandon and each night the food was great.

So glad we thought ahead to reserve a table! This is clearly THE place to dine in Bandon, and dine we did: fabulous seafood, excellent wines, care taken in the cooking and presentation of the food, excellent service, and luscious desserts. We'd make the trip across the country if only to dine there again.

This place is very small and you must have reservations, even on a Wednesday night and off-season, as the golfers from Bandon are advised that this is THE PLACE TO EAT in Bandon. This is good and bad as often there are large tables of diners in the front room and it is VERY NOISY save the smaller back room,... More

If your looking for a restaurant near the golf mecca of Bandon Dunes and you want to get away from the golf resort this is the one. A local recommended it, and it was fantastic. Small so you will need a reservation, and it's a nice spot for a romantic night out, but also good for bunch of friends. Its... More

Ate at Alloro a couple of days ago. Intimate, well staffed restaurant with creative menu. Hard to find a really fine meal on the coast. Fresh ingredients (including hand made pasta) and nicely presented. Reservations HIGHLY recommended. They do have a small bar for walk-ins if you want to chance it.

Food was remarkable, service was perfect, and wine list was interesting and reasonably priced. Party of 4 had oysters (medium sized and fresh), corn chowder (great reviews), arugula salad, fish stew, and linguinin w clams (will make trip back to Orergon for). Everything, even the small plate of olives was somehow different- a newer, fresher, perhaps hipper- more interesting versions... More
