Yes we'll be back because we ran into a sleepy woman at the tiller this morning and nothing similar happened to us, like others claim. Mediocre food, less than interested server, and the place is not spotless as one reviewer claimed. I think rustic quaint might work here. We'll go back next time through just to see if we can... Going East from Portland, Baker City was just the right place for lunch. Inland Cafe sounded safe, so we gave it a try. Soup of the day was mushroom and it was quite good. Tuna salad sandwich on wheat toast came on untoasted bread and the fries with it were among the worst ever - browned but undercooked, which is... More

We were traveling through and looking for somewhere local, real and good to eat. This is the spot! Big crowd of locals parked out front. Place was buzzing but we got quick and friendly service in this spic and span place. I love good chicken fried steak and so many places now deep fry them, a bad trend! These guys... More

We went here on a Friday night. I ordered the Prime Rib and my wife ordered a steak dinner. I had the salad bar with mine. When I first went up to the salad bar they were out of lettuce so I had to wait a few minutes, but otherwise the salad was good. My Prime Rib was sliced too... More

The staff was excellent and was some of the best service I have ever had. and the food was just as good. The salad bar was running out of everything and the waitress was making sure everything I was needing was filled. Their chicken fried steak and gravy was in the top three that I have eaten.

Not on the beaten path but a great home cooked meal and priced right. What ever you do make sure you leave room for the homemade pie! Yum, yum! Wait staff was great too.

Love this place! It feels like what you imagine a small town cafe should feel like. The servers know the patrons by name, and you can tell most of the patrons have been going there for many many years (I mean that in a good way). If you want a good country breakfast, with good size portions, and where anything... More

It seemed as if everyone in the restaurant knew each others names. It was obviously well known to the locals as a great place to eat. To be honest, it looked like a dive from the outside but it was warm, friendly and comfortable inside. The food was very good.I had bacon and eggs and my husband had the chicken... More

Stopping here after a full day's driving, we were really hoping for a good experience. I had the nicest waitress, Jennifer I believe her name was. The food was average, but the friendliness of the waitress was great after a few of the other experiences we had on our trip. I'll definitely stop by here again if I'm in the... More
