The Train Is Still Running

We've eaten here many times in the past, but not for several years. We were happy to see that the model train still runs through the restaurant to every child's delight. We had breakfast which was quite good. Our orders included two pancakes and scrambled eggs and a sausages, hash brown potatoes... read more

This restaurant has a very friendly and professional wait staff. Service was quick and the food was good. It is relatively clean but we were bothered by a very aggressive fruit fly. There is nothing special about the menu -- it has the normal variety of things you would expect. I had a chicken jalapeno salad which was good. My... More

French Dip was a big portion and Great tasting w/ fresh cut fries! This is a cool place as it has a running model train throughout the whole restaurant. Several other models mounted about the place.

We stopped here for dinner and breakfast and the food is very good. Even though there was a basketball tournament in town and the place was packed the waitresses were very friendly and helpful. There were a lot of people eating at this restaurant but they found a place for us even though it was full. Would definitely stop here... More

Staying at the Best Western next door, it was inevitable that we ate at least one meal here. We choose breakfast, and were not disappointed. Excellent, quintessential road food. French toast, eggs benedict, and scrambled eggs were all great. The bacon (5 slices! ) was REALLY good. The service was perfect "truck stop", and the coffee was even not as... More

We were driving through on a Seattle to Denver haul and happened to stop in. The fried pickles were legit. I had a mushroom swiss burger which really hit the spot. The train going around the place was amazing to look at. We had no idea about it going it so it was an amazing surprise. We will be stopping... More

The train broke down right before we got here. I hear it runs approximately 16 hours a day. So I guess it wasn't my time to see the train lol. The chicken fried steak, egg, and hash browns were excellent. The waitress was very nice and friendly. A plus service.

We have been here a few times. Young or old it's fun to see the train travel around the restaurant. Good service and good food.

I ate breakfast at noonish. The place was very busy but my server was prompt, efficient and personable. My food arrived quickly and was just as i ordered. It was tasty and hot. The train that travels around the restaurant is fun and certainly held the attention of the kids that were there.
