This is a great place for kids to watch a train as it travels along the tracks that goes by your table and higher up and down a spiral track. It is an older restaurant with a lot of history of the railroad there. The food was a little pricey but it was good. We had a great waitress. One... More

Our family went on a Sunday afternoon and ordered both breakfast and lunch items. The serving size was generous and the menu was unique. The waitress was very attentive to our large family, making sure we had snacks for the baby and drinks were kept full. Chicken Fried Bacon was a hit!!!

Cool train travels around the restaurant...kept the kids attention - which was nice. The person who sat us gave us a great seat to view it. The food was so so...If we would return to the area again...we would not eat here.

The portions were large, prices not cheap, selections pretty run of the mill. Tasty but nothing over the top. They were busy so service was slow.

Based on other reviews we stopped in here and had a great breakfast. Cute place with the train running throughout restaurant. Service was good and the omelets we had with hashbrowns were great. Alot of places you get this and there is a greasy quality to it, the omelets are perfect and so fresh with no hint of being greasy.... More

This place is definitely a 'step-up' from your regular diner. Good fresh food, generous portions, friendly fast service, and a great little model train that goes around the inside of the place. Something for everyone on the menu. My favorite is the Monte Steak Salad--10 oz of tasty grilled steak with onions and peppers on a bed of lettuce with... More

We had hot sandwiches and salad, and the food was very good! The staff was friendly and efficient. The model train circling the dining room was a neat addition and added to the experience. With good food , nice people, and a fun environment, why wouldn't you stop here?!?!

Located right off I 84 at Baker City, Oregon, it is not only easy to find but has ample parking even for trailer/campers. There are garden railroad model trains all around the ceiling and one running at your elbow if you sit at a booth near the windows. Many historic building replicas are present as well as trestles and mountain... More
