Remodeled

This was our first visit after an extensive remodel. I'm not sure why it took a full year to remodel though. The dining area has a lot more floor space but not near as much seating as they could have. A lot of wasted space. The bathrooms were filthy.

We went late at night, 10pm. The area has a gas station, McD's, Subway and typical gas station staple snack and drinks. The restrooms were clean and most exciting of all was the see-through elevator! I've never seen the inner workings before. I could see below the first floor, how the door opens and the counter balance! I felt safe... More

This McDonald’s was recently remodeled and Subway has taken over half of the travel plaza. On a Sunday at 1 PM, we had a 15 minute wait for our food. A lot of people stop here to eat and they have several people continually taking orders from customers. This used to be the largest McDonald’s in the world, but I... More

Me and my husband wanted to stop here so my son could look out from atop the McDonald's and see the trucks. (He loves trucks!) So, I told him we would stop for milkshakes. We did and they messed the order up. The manager did fix the error, which I told her I was grateful for. Then, we all tasted... More

This newly remodeled McDonalds looks newer than the old one. Don't let that fool you! They couldn't fill an order right if their lives depended on it. No wait a minute I'll not put that much pressure on them. They couldn't fill an order right if.... uh nothing whatsoever depended on it. I've seen a single patty on a double... More

Was a unique experience when it was open. Looking foward to stopping next time thru this area. Sitting above the highway while eating and having semis driving under you was really exciting.

Wow, I remember this as a kid. It's terrible that they have let it run down. It was discusting. Do not waste your time. If you want McDonald's, just wait until the next town. Grease was over a day old, floors haven't been cleaned in days, busted windows, tiles fallen on the floor in the bathroom, everything smells old, out... More

I remember passing by and going to this McDonalds as a kid in the 80's. We made the trip from OKC to Joplin many times. I was always excited to see and visit this McDonalds. Until last year I had not been here since the late 80's. Sadly, nothing has changed. I mean nothing. This place is run down and... More

If you like McD's then it's a good one. My favorite part is the cool building over the turnpike. I love sitting in the dinning room & watching the cars drive under me. I t was a restaurant when I was growing up. It was called the Glasshouse. It's worth pulling over to check it out.

Traveling west on Interstate 44 at Vinita OK between Tulsa and Ok City we saw the sign Worlds Largest McDonalds! Intrigued we decided to stop...since the building straddles the road. Wrong decision! Gross! Dirty! Sad! Do not bother to stop as it is NOT the worlds largest but could be worlds dirtiest! I ordered a small diet coke took one... More
