While traveling and not knowing our surroundings we went to TripAdvisor the goto app and found the "Brothers Houligan" A great find and the chicken fried steak suggested by our waiter is top notch. Parking is a little tight and the front door is not the entrance and the margarita glass was a plastic tumbler but all in all a... More

I had been advised to try The Brothers Houligan when in Tulsa for their CFS and it was excellent advice. The steak is not one of Oklahoma's legendary hubcap sized steaks but it is a generous portion. It's also fork tender. The sides are good and they included some extra green beans for my wife's take-home box. The service was... More

Mostly everything fried. They did have a grilled chicken which someone in our group ordered and said was tough. The salads are uninteresting, bland and no balsamic vinegar dressing. Mashed potatoes are instant. The other potatoe offerings are fried. They were greasy and not very hot. The place at 61st street is very small inside, feels dirty and dingy and... More

Been to the one on 61st a few times. Thought we would try this one. Chicken fried steak was good. Wifes chicken fingers were good. Buddies chicken fried steak was good. Green beans as always were great. Service is better we have to say at 61st location. They just didn't seem to care about us a whole lot.Might return but... More

Best breaded shrimp basket .Comes with green beans & waffle fries & gravey home style. Steaks are very good with similar sides. Service has always been good.

The bar scene looks like it might be an okay place to hang and our server was nice, but that's all the positive I can say. The fries were good - but really, just how hard is it to make good fries?- and everything else (including the chicken fried steak that people mysteriously recommend) was heavy, fried, greasy average tasting... The chicken strips were great and it was so much food I had to share (8 strips and 2 huge sides). The service was the best I've had in a long time. I really like how the waiters share you so you always have someone available to help.

Suppose to be the best chicken fry in Tulsa. Wrong! I was very disappointed in the size and quality of the meat.

I learned about Brothers Houligan in the Southern Living Off the Eaten Path book. It suggested Brothers Houligan for their cottage fries and chicken fried steak. So naturally, I ordered both. The food did not disappoint. The fries were good and served with white gravy. But the chicken fried steak was excellent...also served with white gravy. The green beans with... More

Their slogan is eat more gravy if that tells you anything. Great fried shrimp, huge chicken fried steaks and endless green beans. It is actually possible to eat healthy there - they have grilled fish and chicken, but I have never managed to do it.
