El Chico's are consistently good.

I've been to El Chico's in Lawton, OKC, Fort Smith, and Tulsa. The one thing I can say is that they are consistently good. This El Chico is inside a mall - on the weekends, the mall is teeming with bored teenagers, but thankfully that doesn't seem to affect the service or atmosphere at the El... read more

Just some decent texmex. We all had ala carte. Tacos, cheese enchiladas, white enchiladas, chicken enchiladas. They were good. Service was just ok, they were not busy so seems that he should have been a little more attentive we had to wave him down.

We ate here while visiting Tulsa and we were very pleased. The food was really good, great service, and nice price. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Located in a mall, I tried this restaurant on a recommendation. We were quickly seated since the restaurant had few customers. We ordered our drinks and Queso to accompany the complimentary chips and salsa. Unfortunately, the Queso arrived with our meal negating the purpose. Considering Mexican food is well known for its distinct flavors, this restaurant missed the mark. The... More

We visited this El Chico just for the apple pie. We were seated immediately upon arrival. It was appx 8:30 so we missed the crowd. Our waiter was very friendly and efficient. He got our drinks right away and places our order for appetizers. Our food came out quickly and was fresh and hot. The restaurant appearance was clean and... More

The El Chico chain in Tulsa is not bad. Not great, mind you, but not bad. That said, the El Chico at Promenade Mall is disgusting. The smell when you walk through the door is not good! The restroom was unbelievably dirty - not a good sign. The staff is mostly interested in talking to one another. We had the... More

My husband and I went to El Chico's for Veterans Day. This patriotic restaurant was generous enough to give free entrées to veterans -unlike some other places. I had the Avocado Enchiladas entrée which was very good. The New Orleans Margarita was a bit sweet (and too weak) for my taste. This location is the best managed and most attractive... More

Not sure about this but i believe we have 3 different El Chico's in Tulsa, but this is by far the best. If you go here, order something off the menu called the "Queso Flameado"....they fire it up right at the table and its amazing! service has always been great and friendly....and not bad to look at if you know... If you haven't been to El Chico in a while, it's time to try it again. We had the beef brisket tacos and they are fabulous! They are an explosion of flavor in your mouth. Soft white corn tortillias, tender roasted brisket, chopped red onion, a little jack and fresco cheese, a spoon full of spicy verde sauce, salt and... More
