Saturday flea marketer breakfast

So you may have a diner like this in your town. What you love: food, plenty of it, gabby friendly staff and people watching. This place has all of those. Add Giant Cinnamon Rolls and even if it wasn't amidst flea markets and antiques, it's worth the visit.

I am a front desk receptionist and people always ask for directions to this place, so i decided to give it a try. I went there with my fiancé and family. At first a skinny lady with black hair was handing us our drinks in a really rude manner so i started complaining with my fiancé about the service and... More

I have been an occasional patron of Tally's for over 30 years, with visits several times per year. I have brought friends, relatives and out-of-town guests here to experience the "Greasy Spoon Diner" atmosphere and food (such as good ole' Oklahoma Chicken Fried Steak). My husband, daughter and I visited for dinner last Sunday. I was particularly craving fried okra... More

I was in Tally's on a Tuesday evening eating my meal, when a customer a couple of tables down complained to his server about how his food tasted, The server took the plate to the owner and when the owner heard this he stomped into the room, rushed at the customer and went off on a tandem. I thought he... More

Large portions of average food. Average service. We wasted our "fried food splurge" in the mistaken assumption that a diner on RT 66 would have great chicken fried steak and catfish. I would not return. The rolls were good.

One of my kids favorite restaurants. From gigantic hang over the plate cinnamon rolls to an always full cup of coffee Tally's is great.

We have eaten at this restaurant two different times. Nice nostalgic feel, fun decor. Outside is very nice. The first time was for lunch during the week. We sat at a table in the front of the restaurant. Everything went well, friendly waitress, food was pretty good, not too expensive. I had a hamburger, it was good. My husband had... More

In the words of the late Marvin Zindler, "There's slime in the ice machine!" Well, a sign should have been when we sat down in a booth and the seats were ripped. I get it you're supposed to be old, but old and poor looking are two different things. Another would have been the fact that you can't see through... More

A classic 50's diner on historic Route 66. Same on-site owner for years. The breakfasts are the best here. Can also get old-fashioned milk shakes. Order a cinnamon roll - so large it will feed a family of 4, but very delicious.

This location has a great deal of history, but the service and food were not great. The bathroom was in need of updating/repair, and the overall diner needed some updating/cleaning up. We had a few different servers, but it took a long time to get our food. The orders were breakfast and a sandwich at lunchtime so we thought we... More
