A Pleasant Surprise

I did some research on this dining room prior to my visit to Tulsa. Reviews were good, but I was still a little bit hesitant. Not sure why. However, everything was very nice. Not stellar…. But certainly worth a 4-star rating and a recommendation. Thank you for your service, Polo Grill.

I made a reservation for a party room in the wine cellar for my wife's Medicare birthday (65). I set the menu and picked the wine to be poured. Jody Marler, Private Dining Director, did an excellent job of assisting me with all of my decisions. I also brought in entertainment and after dinner was complete, the staff were able... More

Not impressed. The large group was housed In the wine room which was cramped and hot. Very little room for a group of 40 to mingle before dinner. Ceaser salad was small and lettuce wilted. Steaks were not prepared to guests specifications and had to be returned. Salmon was fishy tasting and over cooked. Accompaning sides were minuscule. Dessert of... More

Went for brunch on a Sunday morning with my wife. We love Utica Square and having brunch there every time we are in Tulsa. The Benedict eggs we ordered were just okay and we ended up paying around $60 for an "okay" brunch. The place was nice indeed, although we were seated close to the entrance and did not get... More

Waste of time and a lot of money. Snooty service in a dingy dining room. Overcooked steak and cold sides. Terrible. If you want a great steak, go to Mahogany instead

Fantastic experience. The food was excellent. I had the ribeye & a wedge salad - they were among the best of each that I have had. I highly recommend.

We hosted an event at Polo grill for some clients (15), so they put us in a large room in the back, which was very quaint and reminded me of a well-done basement wine cellar - they had two walls filled with wine. The service was outstanding - the staff was very attentive and helpful (and always around). After our... More

Been coming here off/on since 1989. Good restaurant that presents itself as the "cream of the crop". Don't think so. Nevertheless, w/recent remodeling, consistent good food over the years, attentive " formal" service ... All-in-all, Polo Grill gives you a very nice experience. But, I can't remember when our bill for "dinner for 4" cost less than $400 before gratuity... More

Contrary to the more complimentary reviews, I didn't think the place delivered at 4+ stars. The various bread choices were cool. The Napa Sauvignon Blanc was very good. The rest of the meal good, just not 4+ great. Beet salad with 10-12 beet cubes underwhelming. The trout was good, but very thin fillets. Good service.
