Good catfish, good BBQ, goodness gracious you need to try this.

I'm ashamed of my self for not writing about Billy Rays before, I wonder if I was just subconsciously trying to keep it a secret (we locals have been known to do that) but this is one of my favorite restaurants in Tulsa. This is the only place I go in Tulsa for Catfish or BBQ. My wife and I... read more

Ate here on a business trip. Waitress was very nice and fun. But the food took a long time and when it did arrive, half of it was room temperature. The baloney tasted like the packaged type you get at the deli counter. Not like typical smoked baloney you can get in town that is actually good. All meat comes... More

Of all the BBQ places in Tulsa this one has been around a long time and continues to serve good food. Nothing fancy but good food at reasonable prices. Daily specials and while I'm not a big catfish fan I know many people say it's the best they have ever eaten.

My favorite Barbeque in Tulsa for sliced brisket. I like it so much that I had it catered in for my daughter's wedding reception. The sauce is perfect and accompaniments of beans, cole slaw, corn on the cob, fresh bread, peppers and onions are perfectly matched. Not a scenic view but excellent and fast service always make for a great... More

Billy Rays has been a family favorite for years! My favorite is their sliced brisket. I'm not a fan of fish but the rest of my family says they have the best catfish around! Nothing fancy, just great food!

Tulsa has so many BBQ restaurants that this place is just another. It does have the advantage of having very fast friendly service which is what we need at lunch. Lots of repeat customers, really a locals place, because the food is good, the service is fast and friendly and the prices are right

I used to live in Tulsa years ago and this was one of our regular spots back then. I try to go back when I'm in town on business and it is consistently good. The place looks awful but the barbecue is good and the desserts (save room for them) are tremendous. They also have music some nights, which adds... More

This is a "hole in wall" type of restaurant. Nothing matches, but boy is the food GOOD. You are served barbeque that is smoking on premises. The sauce is wonderful with a little bite to it. This is the original restaurant. I have not been to the newer ones, because I don't see why to "fix it if it ain't... More

I read all these great reviews, but I was sorely disappointed in my experience. The food was low quality (beans tasted canned and barbecue sauce was not cooked into the meat). The place itself was run down and dirty. The price was low, but it still didn't make the trip out there worth the while.

Four of us went and had everything from the pulled pork, to ribs to the baloney. It was all very good. The sauce was kind of sweet and tangy. The rib meat was falling off the bone. Even the sides, beans, cole slaw and potato salad were good. Definately worth going back.
