Overall great food but could improve service speed and dining atmosphere.

Don't be in a rush when you go. Service is a but slow but the food was worth the wait. The calamari appetizer and Caesar salad was not impressive but everything else was top notch. The complementary mini beef Wellington bites, spinach salad, entrees of SEARED DIVER SCALLOPS and duck, and desserts... read more

This was not my first visit to this restaurant, but it was by far the worst experience I have had there. We barely saw our waitress, and our drink glasses sat empty for long stretches of time throughout the evening. We were there 45 minutes at the restaurant before we managed to order our meals, most of this time was... More

We ate here the end of May on a middle of the week night. The restaurant was almost empty. Except for the Mushroom tart which was very good, everything else was very mediocre. The spinach salad with fruit was so bad, my husband sent it back. I had a lobster dish . The lobster was overcooked and tough. I do... More

We enjoy eating a variety of cuisines and have found tapas, or small plates, to be a great way to sample many different foods. We visited our favorite French restaurant, the French Hen to celebrate the end of a 3 week family vacation. We ordered our meal entirely from the appetizer menu thereby getting 'small plates' which were shared by... More

We had a lunch group of 23. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was great and the food was superb, Not one exception in our entire group. I am looking forward to returning for dinner.

This restaurant has fabulous French cuisine that will delight your mouth. It is a little pricey but it's worth it for the excellent service, food, and cocktails. You will leave happy. The only detractor is that the restaurant's interior, while well maintained, romantic and elegant, feels slightly dated.

It's actually been a few years since I ate at this restaurant last time. Many things happened and many new restaurants were tried during this time. Then, I remembered that French Hen had been a wonderful place for a long business lunch, which you can write off as business expense. After all, French Hen is not the cheapest upscale restaurant... The French Hen is an old Tulsa institution, but that doesn't mean they've become lax in their offerings. This charming little restaurant has some of the best French food I've ever eaten. My liver and onions was superb, all of our food was excellent. But I am writing this review primarily to tell others that chocolate creme brulee is what... More

I made reservations for my husband and I around last November for Valentines Evening. Somehow our reservation did not make it on their books. When I called Valentines Day to confirm our reservation they said they did not have one for us and would I like to speak to the owner? I said yes.... I was so upset and and... More
