They are in an old gas station on Harvard. We have eaten at most of the barbeque places in Tulsa and this is our favorite. They trim the fat from the meat so you don't pay for something that you can't eat. Their ribs and pork are some of the best I have had anywhere. I don't care for their... More

If you're in the mood for barbeque, Albert G's BBQ, housed in an old gas station, is an easy off I-44 at Harvard. You order at a counter on the left, pay at the same time, & then go into the large room next to it where they used to work on a couple of cars years ago. The soda... More

Tulsa has not been blessed with very many really good barbeque joints. None that I'd call execellent. Albert G's is the best of the bunch. I always judge barbeque by the ribs and these are good - good enough to stand alone if you're a purist and don't want any sauce getting between you and the smokey flavor. Good flavor,... More

Firstly, chopped brisket has no fat at all. Owner frequently watches employees slice to ensure it meets his standards. Ribs are thick and sauce is exceptional. I usually get a potato salad as both sides, didnt care for baked beans or their slaw. All else is above par! 28th and Harvard.

When you walk in, the smell of the hardwood smoker let's you know this is real Bar-B-Q. I got carry out, and when I got back to my hotel the scent of the food reminded me of the same. The brisket was tender with a great smoky flavor on its own. I had sides of both hot and sweet sauce,... More

This is actually 3 blocks from my house. It is an old gas station converted into a BBQ joint. For me, the best part is the smoking they do all day can waft and make the area smell fantastic. The atmosphere is very interesting as they mostly left it as it was. You order in the 'pay area' of what... More
