Whenever we go we would always come back with a bottle of their excellent salsa. Nice ambiance and good food.

We met a couple at this location to have lunch. The service and food was excellent, however a little on the pricy side for Mexican food. Still there were lots of customers.Right on 71st Street with easy parking almost at the door.

I did a drive by visit to Abuelo's because it was near where I was staying on business. Very pleased with a huge variety of choices and the quality. Choices of Tex-Mex dishes and uh, non Tex-Mex choices?? The chicken tortilla soup was excellent. The enchiladas angelica were also very good with some authentic red and green sauces the tasted... Different from your usual Mexican place. Inside decor is very well done. You do not feel cramped at all, more like you are outside in the middle of a Mexican home's courtyard. The food was excellent. The chips and salsa was great for starters, especially the green salsa with pineapple( sounds crazy, but it is great). I had bacon wrapped... More

Through thick and thin, Abuelo's in Tulsa has been our Mexican food place of choice for a number of years. The food is consistent and the wait staff have nearly always been very attentive. That having been said, our last visit to Abuelos in Tulsa on Cinco de Mayo was a huge disappointment. We were seated and gave our order... More

Very attentive and friendly waitress and wait staff. The tortilla chips were thin and crispy and the three salsa very good. My entree of an enchilada was average and the chile rellano was okay.

I was in Tulsa on business and Mexican sounded good. I wasn't disappointed with Abuelos. My fajitas were very good and the atmosphere was relaxing. My server was very attentive and friendly. I will come here again and again.

My meal and everyone's meal who ate in our party was great!! I ordered the Juarez combination platter and it was super good. As good as it was, I was not able to finish it and I'm a pretty big eater. My dad ordered a mushroom appetizer with spinach and cheese that was very good and I highly recommend. Our... More

3/27/14: Wow. This place has gone down the tubes. went in at 1:18 pm. Food was NOT good, cooked under a heatlamp WAY too long..refries & rice were CRUNCHY! Fish tacos were not fresh at all, BEWARE! Mgr woman, who did not identify herself & who we did not request, came to our table and was rude, condescending & patronizing.... More

Wife and I decided to go back here after it was where we went 11 years ago for our 1st date. Food was excellent. Waiter gave us great recommendations. Can't say anything bad about the lace. All thumbs up!!!
